Casa de las Palmas Hostel

El hostal puede ser bueno para extranjeros, porque la atención hacia los nacionales es casi nula, no ofrecen planes, ni ayudan a conocer la región. Para ser un hostal, me parece incomodo q no limpian las camas durante tu estadía, y nisiquiera incluyen toalla, toca o llevar o alquilar una, lo cual en hoteles por el mismo precio en la region se consigue tanto limpieza, toalla y atencion, en una cama y habitación individual.

Por otro lado, es incomodo que ellos sabiendo que la mayoria de los planes en el Amazonas empiezan antes de las 7-7.30 no te permitan desayunar antes de esa hora, de los 6 días que estuve solo pude desayunar 2.

Resalto la atención del personal de servicio, pero no de las personas de recepción o "voluntarios" supongo. Solo hay buen trato a los extranjeros.

Si eres colombiano y pueden quedarse en un hotel, seguramente hay mejores espacios a mejores precios.

Me gustaron los desayunos y la limpieza de este lugar. Muchas gracias a Erick y su hospitalidad, siempre dispuesto a ayudar.
Pero hubiera corregido el planteamiento de venir a limpiar el polvo y cepillar el suelo a las 8: 30 de la mañana (era mi último día allí, a esa hora estaba haciendo las maletas), y la chica voluntaria y su amiga ocuparon mi lugar.durante mi desayuno cuando fui al baño, fue muy extraño e incómodo, alguien dice que fue de mala educación ya que vieron mis cosas tiradas allí y no dijeron nada si podían acompañarme.
La próxima vez elegiría otro lugar para quedarme en Leticia.

Gran lugar para dormir, gran lugar para pasar el rato. Gran servicio y ubicación increíble:)

¡Qué albergue tan increíble! Tienen unas instalaciones fantásticas, están en una ubicación estupenda y dan recomendaciones muy útiles. Sabíamos que estábamos en buenas manos tan pronto como llegamos y lo organizaron todo para nosotros. Muy buen desayuno también. ¡Un precio tan asequible también! Lo recomendaría altamente

Un Hostel muy agradable con espacios muy chéveres piscina, zona de gym y dónde compartir con personas de otras partes del mundo. La atención fue muy buena los cuartos limpios.experiencia muy recomendada

The three days tour to the amazone that we booked here was amazing! There were for example really cute monkeys that wanted to cuddle with us, which was just lovely. The tour had a pretty good price as well. The people in the hostel itself are really nice as well: they help you with different kind of questions. There is a PlayStation you can use, there are good electronic locks on the private doors, the kitchen is pretty good, there is a big garden and also a big pool etc. I'd recommend staying here.

Personnel super serviable et accueillant. Ils sont comme une grande famille. La cour intérieure et la piscine ne sont vraiment pas de trop! Très bon séjour à Casa de las Palmas. Merci!

Excelente atención, las personas muy agradables, los tours con el hostal son muy buenos te dan el espacio de conocer.
Adicional es el único hostal en Leticia con piscina.

Un albergue increíble dirigido por la gente más amable. Muy atento y con muy buenas recomendaciones de restaurantes, bares y actividades cercanas.

¡La excursión de tres días al Amazonas que reservamos aquí fue increíble! Por ejemplo, había monos muy lindos que querían acurrucarse con nosotros, lo cual fue encantador. La gira también tuvo un precio bastante bueno. La gente del albergue en sí también es muy amable: te ayudan con diferentes tipos de preguntas. Hay una PlayStation que puedes usar, hay buenas cerraduras electrónicas en las puertas privadas, la cocina es bastante buena, hay un gran jardín y también una gran piscina, etc. Recomiendo quedarse aquí.

Did not like:
very money minded staff and owner.after checking out we kept our luggage there for 3 days and paid for the lockers per day.when we came back to collect our bags- we wanted to hang out a little and change but they were charging us €5/€13 to use the common area and toilets because we were not customers!
they also increased the price of towels during our 2 day stay! All of that is ok but the attitude of staff was not best when we confronted them.

Las instalaciones están bien. Las habitaciones demasiado aglomerados. Con el ventilador directamente que no puedes apagar. Te cobran las toallas

Un poco alejado del centro, el trato es magnifico. Las habitaciones no son una maravilla porque son un poco ruidosas, pero tienen una piscina fantástica.

Buen lugar para alojarse, muy tranquilo, acogedor. El problema en Leticia es que el Internet es malo, nunca me funcionó el paquete de datos de mi celular.

Mi anécdota fue que la primera noche, estuve departiendo en los alrededores y llegué a dormir a las 2 am pero la persona que me hizo el check-in se le olvidó darme la contraseña de la puerta y tuve que irme a dormir a otro hostal, menos mal hice amigos en el avión y me ayudaron con la estadía de ése noche. Sin juzgar, les dí otra oportunidad al día siguiente y me fuí a conocer las maravillas del Amazonas con los tours que ofrecen y fue la mejor decisión que tomé en Leticia. 10/10 Jonathan, Julio, Damian, Juan, Celina, todos unos bacanes, si vuelvo a Leticia sin duda los iría a visitar de nuevo. Great helpful owners and staff, you can use some bicycles, pool, hammocks, relax. Only thing was the dog barking and squeeling from 4 to 5am so no sleep at that time even with earplugs. If the dog was not there it would be perfect.

For what we payed, it's a great space. It's safe and the pool is lovely. Their cats are also super friendly. While we where there the bathrooms could have done with a bit of a clean, the bathmat was visably dirty. But the rooms where very clean and the rest of the hostel was perfect.

I would definitely recommend this hostel. The staff was amazing and the hostel had a tv, play station, hammocks, pool, and comfortable beds. BUT, if you are a light sleeper don’t plan to get a full nights sleep. They have two dogs that bark all night long and a broken sounding rooster that caws from 2: 30-6am. Other than that I really enjoyed my stay!

Sehr schönes, gepflegtes Hostel in Leticia. Optimal um von dort aus weiter in den Amazonas zu reisen. Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Leider mussten wir so früh raus wegen der Tour nach Puerto Narino, dass wir das Frühstück verpasst haben:) Danke für die Gastfreundschaft!

Tout était super, les équipements, le service de laverie, la piscine (qui n’était pas de trop), le BBQ, le matériel de muscul, le linge de lit, les dortoirs et la privative, l’espace chill exté, la salle de jeu / TV, le staff (merci pour tout J2)
Nous sommes très content d’y avoir séjourné et nous y retournerons avec plaisir!

Un hermoso lugar, con diferentes opciones de acomodación, baño compartido, piscina, muy cerca del centro de Leticia y del Aeropuerto. Los chicos son muy amables y puedes contratar allí mismo servicios de ecoturismo.

No fue buena la atención y de acuerdo a ello tuvimos que cancelar la reservación.

El sitio no se ve mal, lamentablemente no pudimos disfrutarlo.

Fue una experiencia sensacional, muy buena gente, las habitaciones muy limpias y las duchas tambien, 100% recomendadocimo.

The brothers of the hostel are friendly. I’ve been the amazon tour with this hospital. It was the best experience. Fishing and swimming in the amazon river. Sleeping in a hammock in the forest and in a floating house. I met nice local people. It was awesome.

Die Atmosphäre war sehr angenehm, die Mitarbeiter waren sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Toller Pool und man konnte Jungletouren mit einem indigenen Guide machen. Alles in allem top hostel

-there’s a park nearby where all the birds go crazy just before sunset - definitely go & visit

Cons
- you can’t use the kitchen between 11-13: 30 which makes it hard because this is one lunchtime, the lady did let us take stuff from the kitchen so we could make our sandwiches outside
- no aircon but we made do with fans

Nice place but l don’t recommend the dormitory because of the robbery happened to me. I never thought somebody would steal my accessories bag, mosquito net and inflatible travel pillow from my backpack, so l didn’t put them in the locker. The second day they were gone. For sure he/she wasn’t a roommate. It is not safe, be careful. Btw I have been full time solo traveling for 3 years and only once my money was stolen in a hostel. Weird.

Friendly staff, but the person that was at the reception was not really helpful, they are probably only volunteers that work there for short period of time and have not much local knowledge. Under the roof of the house there is rat family! (Or similar animals)! They are really loud at night walking on the roof and making loud noises. Because of them some dust and dirt fall on the upper beds. So if you really want to stay there take the down bed and put the fan to maximum (because the fan is loud you will not hear the rats noises that much). There are no Mosquitonets, but this is ok given the fact that there are not many mosquitos. There is a pool, not really nice one, nobody was using it (you really do not need a pool in Leticia). Bathrooms were cleaned only on the surface and really need some renovation! I used them only in flip flops. Internet was fine compared to other places in Leticia. Location.at night I preferred to take a tuktuk, it is a bit away from some houses (there is some factory or police building and it is dark at night). I stayed there only one night and would not recommend it.
