Eware Refugio Amazonico

Nos recogieron muy cumplida mente en el embarcadero, tiene wifi, piscina, un mirador directo al lago tarapoto, tiene energía solar y de planta, hacen su propio manejo de aguas, cosa que resalto mucho teniendo en cuenta que el hotel que a unos 25 min caminando de Puerto Nariño, si buscas un lugar alejado del ruido y con una vista hermosa, este es tu lugar, además incluyen desayuno con la reserva.

Hotel en la selva, a 40 minutos a pie de Puerto Nariño. Propietarios muy amables que ayudan a reservar excursiones, aunque todas son en español. Todo lo demás está bien organizado y lo recogerán en barco en Puerto Nariño; también pueden organizar transporte adicional a Leticia. Un plus es la piscina y la torre de observación desde donde se puede ver muy bien el atardecer.

Servicio de todo el equipo espectacular. Muy atentos y amables en todo momento.
Las excursiones que organizan estan muy bien.
El precio del hostal y las actividades tambien esta muy bien. Si volvemos, repetiremos. Muy recomendable.

I stayed there for 2 days with my friends. It's a lovely place - beautiful, natural and peaceful. The owner Carlos is very helpful and friendly person. Hope to go there again one day!

És un lugar espectacular en el Amazonas Colombiano. Excelente atención y calidez humana de todo el personal. En especial a Carlos por el asesoramiento y la atención en la estancia y a Danny por su agradable compañia y por la manera en que nos enseñó las peculiaridades de la zona.
Vale la pena reservar en Eware. Una aventura que no os podemos perder por mucho menos dinero de lo que os pensais.

This place is just wonderful. Very quiet, in the middle of the jungle with an amazing staff. The team is very listening and organised everything so you spend the best moment. I recommend 100%.

This place is such a heaven. When we wanted to see Amazonas, we dreamt to stay somewhere just like this. Relaxing place in the jungle full of amazing bird sounds. In the first day, white mouthed monkeys came to one of the trees close to the dining area. Zoraida, mom of Carlos was always there, reassuring and genial. All the kitchen staff was so helpful, every meal was so filling and delicious.
Carlos was very helpful and thoughtful all the time. He gave many information about the area and made a reservation of ferry to Leticia for us beforehand. The place was very clean, they were cleaning the areas very often. We found the place a lot more comforting than expected for such a jungle stay.
In our stay of two days, we arranged two tours with them, Danny was our guide, he was such a nice and kind person with full of information and he was really good at understanding the soul of Amazonas nature.
I can’t recommend enough! I wish I could live there for some time.

In 7 months of traveling this is my far the best place I’ve stayed! Gorgeous setting, comfortable and clean rooms. Staff were so helpful and the tours were great! Such a nice pool too. Food amazing. Just do yourself a favor and stop looking elsewhere and book

I had the best experience at this lodge! Carlos was very communicative and accommodating. He really puts a lot of effort into assuring his guests make the most of their time in Puerto Narino. We booked a bunch of the tours (sloth, canyon, rainforest, and monkey tour etc.) and they were all so much fun! Our tour guides, Danny and Avellino were so knowledgable and friendly! The food was delicious. I highly recommend staying here! It was a truly incredible experience and I hope to go back here one day.

This is THE PLACE to stay. Carlos was just incredible in every way, helped us plan out every day the night before. The entire staff is helpful,
Wonderful- I shed a tear when we left after 3 days! The pics do not do it justice! Saw tons of animals on the property (tamarins, a family of squirrel monkeys basically live next door). Some of the best food we had in all the Amazon. We stayed in a double bed with a shared bathroom. Very clean, literally didn’t see a SINGLE bug in our room! (Shocking?) If you’re reading reviews, trying to decide where to stay- stay here. The main town of Puerto narino is only a 5 min boat ride away; they have their own boats that can take you. All the tours our host arranged were wonderful! The true Amazon experience! Cannot recommend this place enough! We are so grateful

Ein kleines Paradies in der Nähe von Puerto Nariño, wunderschöner Ort, leckeres Essen und super freundlicher Service. Absolut empfehlenswert!

We spent 3 nights at the refugio and had a amazing time! Zoraida and Carlos are very welcoming. The refugios area is great, there is a big swimming pool and an own mirador. Also you can see monkeys from there. We did 3 activities organised by them - night walk through the jungle, boat trip to Lago Tarapoto, trip to San Antonio to see sloths - which were all very nice (each around 130.000 COP for two persons - 1,5 to 4,5 hours).

Es mi lugar favorito de Puerto Nariño. Carlos y el sr Ovidio son grandes personas, el trato es excelente. Si pudiera darle diez estrellas más se las daría.

Carlos and his family run this incredible establishment, it's by far the most beautiful in the area and has an incredible amount of wildlife surrounding it (and in it) the front lawn is a wide large space, possibly the moat beautiful garden I've ever been that slopes off into the Amazon. Dolphin's, eagles, vultures and monkeys are all regular visitors and the sounds of the weaver birds and mesmerising along with the low cacophony of frogs which is very pleasing at night. I slept very well here and I have trouble normally, it really sang to my heart bring at the far end of Puerto Nariño, which itself is a very quaint town with its own unique vibe.
Lots of tours to discover and trips into the jungle. I highly recommend a stay here, it has a pool and a watchtower which I ventured up early in the mornings to witness the mist cleat as the jungle came alive. Absolutely amazing, I hope to return one day. Thanks to all at Eware

Pondría más estrellas pero no lo permite. El sitio es increíble, tienes todo lo necesario para tener una experiencia inolvidable y la atención de Carlos y su familia es excepcional. Sin duda un paraíso en el Amazonas.

Amazing place in the middle of nature but still close to Puerto Nariño if you need anything from a store or want to eat in town. The rooms are comfortable and safe from any unwanted animal visits by having all windows covered with mosquito nets. The people there are also very sweet!

Amazing place! It's a bit further down the river than Puerto Nariño. It's very quiet and pretty. The owners are very kind. Every day we went on excursions that we arranged with the owner. In front is the famous lake with the pink dolphins! We had delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner here with every day a new dish. Given that you're in the amazonas, just don't expect WiFi to work and bring enough cash. Enjoy being connected to nature!

Excelente lugar para desconectarse y descansar. Muy bonito y cómodo, muy buena comida. Don Carlos es muy amable y servicial.

Great place to stay for a week or more. Lots of wildlife right out their back door, and front door. And.a swimming pool. Perfect.

Es un lugar absolutamente precioso, donde los propietarios se preocupan porque disfrutes la mejor experiencia.
La comida es generosa y excepcionalmente deliciosa.
Sonidos de la naturaleza y vistas privilegiadas son el ambiente de este establecimiento.

Muy buen lugar, doña Zoraida y su hijo Carlos, están pendiente y siempre muy disponibles para colaborar. El lugar es impecable, la piscina es un plus, ya que llegan de las excursión muy acalorados. Carlos y el otro guía Avelino, organizan excursiones muy interesantes. El refugio se encuentra a 3km de puerto nariño, media hora caminando por un sendero, lo cual es trocha hasta la mitad y después camino adoquinado hasta el pueblo, con alumbrado público desde la mitad de camino. Una caminata placentera y relajante, para nada complicada y muy segura, inclusive de noche, eso si, lleven linterna y repelente. Otra alternativa para ir al pueblo es coordinar con Carlos, ya que el esta iendo y viniendo todo día en lancha y los puede llevar y recoger. Si son aficionados de la pesca lleven su equipo! El refugio está ubicado en un spot muy bueno para pescar. Hay energía solar durante el día y generador de noche. Así que pueden recargar sus cosas sin problemas. Tratándose de un refugio lejos de todo, después de la cena que sirven tipo 7.30, literalmente no hay nada que hacer, a las 9 más o menos ya todo está apagado y las personas dormidas. Aunque venden cervezas, no tienen un bar o una zona social para tomarse algo. Literalmente es un lugar para descansar! Y eso hace parte del encanto.
Desde junio a septiembre es verano, por ende temporada seca. Los senderos estarán secos y fácil de recorrer.el resto del año llueve todo los días, aunque son brever chubascos, y de una vuelve el sol, pero eso hace que los senderos sean muy húmedos y llenos de lodo, eso implica que deben utilizar botas pantaneran para moverse a pie a cualquier lado. Pero tranquilos el refugio les provee las botas.
En fin.muy recomendado!

El mejor lugar en puerto Nariño, la atención es la mejor, tienen la mejor vista, lleno de paz, ecologico. Un lugar magico

Paz, tanquulida y naturaleza se respira en cada rincon de este bello lugar. Se puede llegar via fluvial o caminando por un sendero muy bien arreglado. Los dueños muy amables, y la comida buena y abundante

This was definitely our favorite place that we stayed at during our trip to Colombia. The family that owns this place was so welcoming and friendly. Even though my boyfriend and I did not speak Spanish, they were still so warm to us and accommodating. It sort of felt like a homestay but you still got privacy and space! The food that the woman (I feel so horrible for not remembering her name because she was so lovely!) cooked was our favorite that we had during our trip! The property itself is absolutely stunning that is right on the amazon river and the property has dogs, cats, chickens, rooster, and a turkey! We booked a couple tours through them and loved them and also got to meet the local people that way! Keep in mind that since this place is a bit off the grid, there is no wifi and a couple times the electricity shut off but we did not mind, it felt like a nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of Leticia. I wish I could've expressed how much I appreciated their hospitality, I truly would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you for a wonderful stay! - Sarah and Robinson, USA

Eware es mucho más de lo que se ve. Eware es puro amazonas y naturaleza. Eware es descanso y excursiones autencias. Eware es la atención del personal en todo momento. Como Carlos, Soraida o Walter. Eware es un rincón de esos que te envuelven y disfrutas como nada en tu vida. De los que te guardas en el corazón y estás deseando volver nada más irte.

Un lugar mágico para olvidarte de todo, la atención de la señora Soraida es excelente, la comida deliciosa. 100% recomendando. Hay un mirador en el que puedes ver el amanecer. Simplemente genial.
