This school is a joke. After moving to colombia from the united states my kids were in spanish speaking public school for 2 years. I wanted to find a nice private school so thay could receive a better education. After some research i can upon Colegio Montessori. After leading me on for three weeks while there entire staff was supposedly on vacation I finally was granted an interview and a tour of the school. Then i paid for my 2 kids to take an admission exam. And once they got the money is when everything changed. I received an email thanking me for my interest but that my children would not be allowed to attend because they are transferring from a Spanish speaking school and wouldn't be able to understand the teachers. After I explained again that although they were coming from a spanish speaking school my kids do speak english as i am american and we speak equal english and spanish in our house. I was then told that they would ask the board for permission to "make an exception". I then received a call that my kids would be allowed to come take the test the following morning. I said thank you but unfortunately we will be out of town. 10 hours notice was not sufficient. I was told over the phone that they will call me back with a time the following week to take the exam. Then I received an email stating that that was the last exam of the year and they are sorry. This school is a SCAM. If you are a foreigner living in colombia or if you are trying to raise your kids with good values and doing what you say, I recommend staying as far away from Montessori as possible.

Hermoso colegio ubicado a las afueras de la ciudad, profesores, estudiantes y personal amable y calificado dispuesto a ayudar y educar a sus estudiantes con valores propios de la metodología de la cual el colegio se enorgullece.

Cuando la gente menciona a el montessori, siempre dice q es de alto rendimiento académico pero es MENTIRA yo estudié allá y es un vagadero comparado con colegios como el canadiense o el colombo británico

Un colegio tan caro como puede tener tan pésimo servicio telefónico? Es imposible comunicarse y si contestan, son groseras y no dan buena información. Deberían de tener información virtual ya que a las secretarías les da pereza hacer su trabajo.

The learning method is pretty outdated and inefficient, Bilingualism in Colombia is one of the most pathetic things you'll ever hear, funny, because anything that evokes English severely daunts the Colombians.
The difference between public and private schools in this country is pretty non-existent. Parents only take their kids to private ones for no more than only sheer image and choice.
The facilities of this school are really cheap and silly.
Forgot to say the deplorable state in which their international programs are in, I must admit, is absurd.
Real talent is elsewhere folks.

This school makes me incredibly disappointed, frustrated, and angry.
In an academic aspect, this school is just slightly over average, but don't get confused by that, the students here are snobs with all the meaning of the word ladies and gentlemen.
Food here is known for being an awful mess with nasty quality control, the cafeteria guys are clearly underpaid in this so called prestigious school, HA! This school is the laughing stock of many people including myself.
Bullying is very common here, and the teachers are bigoted and the school itself is old, overrated, and filled with untalented youngsters.
