Muy amigable, las redes sociales son geniales, todos son amigables y están abiertos a bailar con todos.

Tomamos una lección privada de salsa como grupo de 4 con Diego. Como persona con muy poco ritmo natural, no estaba muy emocionado de probar la lección, pero rápidamente me divirtí. Diego fue muy amable y, a pesar de que entendí que el español era "piquito", me facilitó la comprensión de sus instrucciones. Nunca pensé que diría esto pero recomiendo encarecidamente hacerlo, ¡lo pasé muy bien y lo volvería a hacer!

Nunca antes había escrito una reseña (a excepción del helado gratis), pero pasé más de 20 horas en DANCEFREE en las últimas 2 semanas aprendiendo salsa con Ana, Ximena, Luis, Jaime, Gabriela y Juan. Fue uno de los aspectos más destacados de mi tiempo en Colombia y no puedo esperar a volver cuando visite Medellín nuevamente.

He tenido la oportunidad de asistir a sus intercambios de idiomas y ha sido una experiencia muy amena, tienes la posibilidad de conocer personas de diferentes lugares del Mundo y hablar sobre su cultural. Es un espacio seguro y cómodo para practicar y mejorar tu inglés.

Una de las mejores opciones para aprender ingles y practicarlo que he encontrado es DANCEFREE, por que ahora hay muchos cursos similares pero pagados y esta técnica usada para impartir en las clases es muy buena, ayudar a tener mayor retención y aprendizaje, que me ha ayudado y me esta ayudando a perder el miedo al hablar y poder aprender más sobre culturas, idiomas de otras personas que asinten al curso.

After the pandemic they started having a different pricing structure if you’re a foreigner vs Colombian. I’m not price sensitive and I don’t mind paying whatever for top quality. But I also don’t like to be differentiated like that or taken advtanage of. I lost trust and it put a bad taste in my mouth. I’ll look else where chao

Para mi la mejor manera de aprender otro idioma. Una experiencia diferente al poder hablar directamente con nativos del idioma que estés aprendiendo, lo recomiendo mucho ya que me a ayudado a aprender más vocabulario y poder expresarme mejor. Las anfitrionas muy amables y siempre dispuestas a ayudar en todo momento.

I started using dancefree online in November 2020 because I wanted to improve my Spanish speaking skills. I attend the language exchanges three days a week and one class for beginning Spanish on Saturday. The language exchanges are hosted by Elena and Luisa and they make it a lot of fun with music and different language learning activities. They are friendly, funny and provide questions to encourage conversations. There is also free Basic Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba dance lesson on zoom that are also very fun. I have met many nice and interesting people here that I hope I can meet in person one day. ¡Únase a nosotros y aprendamos y divirtámonos juntos!

Es una de las grandes experiencias que tengo en mi vida, aprender inglés te habre muchas puertas, además de poder viajar en países donde se hablan el idioma, podes hablar y vas aprendiendo mucho, yo con DANCEFREE aprendo.

Es un espacio muy chevere, realmente llevo muy poco pero he disfrutado mucho cada encuentro.

Highly recommend this group for both the dance lesson and spanish learning via zoom.the dance class are fun and the spanish class and exchange are well organized and I always learn something but they are a fun group so always get a laugh as well.

Considero que hacen una buena labor con cada clase. Entregan mucha energía positiva y talento, lo cual ha sido muy importante para mí en este tiempo de pandemia. Me ha ayudado a salir de la rutina y sacudir el sedentarismo de mi cuerpo. Aunque, mi motivación es más por el gusto al baile, especialmente la bachata.
En cada clase empiezan desde lo básico para los nuevos. Pero también se esfuerzan por enseñar pasos diferentes y divertidos para quienes están más avanzados.

Un lugar con excelentes profesores, donde aprendes a bailar, tener confianza en ti mismo y conoces personas de muchos lugares del mundo, lo cual te permite practicar inglés y otros idiomas. El ambiente es una nota.

Amazing place to dance, meet new people, and release stress. I travel to Medellin often and I always make time to visit Dance free and all of their amazing dance instructors. It is a magical place which should not be skipped on your visit to Medellin!

Une super expérience! J'y ai pris des cours particuliers de salsa. Il y a une très bonne ambiance, le lieu est bien conçu. On est libre de changer de style de danse et de prof à tout moment et de choisir nos cours sur une grande plage horaire. Les soirées organisées sont supers pour pratiquer.
Et surtout: les professeurs sont TOPS! Talentueux, pédagogues et très sympas. J'ai pu rapidement progresser, au delà de mes attentes.

DANCEFREE es un situo genial para aprender a bailar salsa, bachata y otro ritmos latinos. Está siempre abierto a todos los niveles, tienes la posibilidad de aprender los 6 días de la semana y así poder practicar, practicar, practicar! Las personas del lugar són amables y simpáticas. Y para mí lo mejor es que la misma escuela es un bar musical también, con lo cuál después de cada clase puedes quedarte a bailar y a conocer más gente y más formas de bailar diferente. Para mí fue genial haber conocido y disfrutado ése lugar. Visita obligada si quieres disfrutar el sabor del baile latino y aprender a la vez! Recomendado al 100×100!

Really awesome salsa school - I had two private lessons with two different tutors - they were both really good instructors, professional, fun and of course great dancers.from what I saw of the group classes they looked super fun. I would definitely recommend and come back next time!

J'ai pris 5 heures de cours particuliers, en pur débutant. Les filles (je suis un garçon) sont extrêmement gentilles et suffisamment attentives pour vous mettre en confiance et progresser. Je n'ai qu'un seul regret: ne pas être resté plus longtemps à Medellin pour continuer.

Really loved the paid group lessons. The free lesson was less good but still nice (and free!).
Only bad things are that not all teachers are good (on group lessons you can't choose), and that they don't let you bring water with you and it's expensive to buy from them

The instructors at this studio are great and friendly, but the management is unethical. I purchased 12 hours of salsa dance classes in February 2019. I was only able to use three hours of the salsa dance classes. I discussed with the management of Dance Free that I travel to Medellin infrequently and would like a six month extension. We all agree for a six month extension to end on November 7,2019 with the purchase of an additional 10 hours of classes. I paid $594.34 on May 12,2019. Since then, my work schedule has limited my travels to medellin and I have requested a refund.

To my amazement, I was informed that Dance Free does not offer a refund. This in incredulous. I have not used my hours and they have not expired. I was informed to pay additional money to have the classes transferred to another individual. This is not what I want. I have attended numerous conferences and meetings in the USA and typically, if you are unable to attend, you get a refund of your fees, or you get a refund minus the administrative costs. This is a shady business practice to seize a customer dollars without providing the service. This is a shady business practice. These individuals know that they can get away with literally stealing your money in colombia without recourse. This borders on criminality. In any case, I would like to sound the bull horn for those who are considering Dance Free. This is an unethical business. The dancers are nice and courteous, but management has criminal intent

Had 2 hours of private classes and 3 hours of group classes of salsa and bachata. The tutors are so patient and passionate with their teaching.

Very professional well organized. They customize classes to your level and have a great teaching system. Staff is passionate about the instruction. They are a great group and after going for several days they treat you like family. On weekends they bring in bands and it was awesome. No matter your skill level you should take classes here as it will add to your experience. Some of the instructors do competitve dancing but what smazed me was they patience level and engagement. Compared to US costs if you purchase a package it's an amazing bargin

I’ve been coming to Dancefree since 2016. The academy has grown substantially and for the better. Great place to learn how to dance salsa, bachata, Kizomba, tango and other genres. I give it a thumbs up.

I could probably write pages about this place and they would probably not do justice at how awesome Dancefree is. But I'll try to summarize my thoughts and experience. First, the location of the place is great, it's right in the middle of everything, it's very central right on one the main streets, or at least it felt that way. The facility itself was super clean and very spacious. While it does not have AC, the fans do a great job at keeping the place cool and well ventilated. Then the best factor in this business.the staff! I've been lucky enough to have traveled to over 60 countries, and to have owned 3 businesses in the service industry.and I must say, the quality of service that Dancefree staff provides is TOP notch, second to none! I was already aware of the warmth and welcoming characteristic of the 'Paisas' (People from Medellin), but wow, the staff at Dancefree took it up a notch or two. I went with the though of trying it out, and signed up for some private lessons online while I was still in San Diego, CA. As soon as I started scheduling the classes, I noticed the level of service was great. I started by scheduling 6 hours a day, which some people thought it would be too much, but i must say, those 6 hours went flying since it was so much fun. Actually, I was loving learning from them so much that i decided to buy more lessons, one day I even took 9 hours.i know sounds crazy, but believe me time went by so fast! I was there for 9 days, and took lessons 6 of those days, and now that I'm back in San Diego, I wish I would have taken classes everyday! I went from barely knowing how to do the bare basics and almost tripping on my feet to some intermediate moves. I was lucky enough to have Sara, Daniela, Fernanda, Vanessa R, Vanessa V, Luis and Elis as instructors (since i took so many classes). And they were all just amazing! They are super professional, fun, funny, welcoming, warm, and soooo good at teaching and dancing. They may it so easy, fun and stressless and actually they made it so I just wanted to keep on learning from them. I was also soo impressed to learn about their professional achievements such a winning championships, competitions, etc.local and international. Crazy the amount of talent and yet how nice and humble they are! Anyway, all in all, I would definitely recommend Dancefree to anyone, from basic learners to professionals. Dancefree Studio is the place to be if you want to learn how to dance salsa and bachata. Edison is an AMAZING teacher! He’s very knowledgeable of many different styles of dance, and he knows how to explain moves based on your level of dance. This dance studio is THE BEST studio in Medellin!

Great group classes! They always start with a different shine steps and then inovative couple choreography. Recommended!
