Hotel Du Parc Royal

Definitivamente este no es un hotel de cuatro estrellas. El servicio fue bueno y el desayuno no era bueno. Lo llaman buffet pero solo te permiten comer un huevo.
No como carne y no había muchas opciones aparte del huevo. El personal no fue muy acogedor.
La comida estaba fría y no fresca.
No había ventilación en la habitación. La ventana que daba directamente a la escalera y era estrecha. Mucha música a todo volumen hasta las 2 de la madrugada en las discotecas y restaurantes cercanos.
Ni siquiera estaba en una ubicación privilegiada, pero aún así había mucho ruido.
El área de servicio de spa/masajes no tenía aire acondicionado y tampoco era muy higiénico.
No hay silencio debido a la sauna que está justo al lado y puedes escuchar a los demás hablar. No fue nada agradable ni pacífico.

Excelente hotel. Muy recomendado! Su ubicación, su atención, instalaciones, comodidad y precio

Un hotel de lujo, excelente para tu visita por Medellín. Bien ubicado en el Poblado, una zona segura y con muchas cosas por hacer. He amado mi estancia aqui y sin duda lo recomendaría.

La propiedad es anticuada y antigua. Pero el servicio es bueno y la ubicación es excelente.

The location was terrific. About a 5 to 10-minute walk to bars, restaurants, and all the main attractions. The complimentary breakfast was decent. All of the staff were friendly and professional. The only bad thing was that the WIFI in both of the rooms was terrible. The network was not working most of the time, and we told the staff about it, so they gave us a hotspot, but that still didn't work.

A localização é ótima para um casal jovem que queira aproveitar a vida noturna em Parque Lleras e calmaria de manhã, mas à noite faz barulho nos quartos (o hotel providencia tampões)

Un lugar impecable, la comida, la música, el ambiente es genial. Hermosas habitaciones, el aseo es impecable y cuenta con ducha de agua caliente, una excelente vista, buena ubicación, el personal de el hotel es muy amable, el desayuno espectacular.calificamos al hotel duparc le damos una calificación es un 10.

Beautiful old wood interior with an open dining area out front-French pastries and a passable French onion soup. The rooms and facilities were nicely kept and the staff was friendly. An interesting mix of tourist and locals as guests made for good conversations. Great neighborhood

La experiencia fue excelente! El staff fue muy amable y servicial siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Mención especial para Didier el mesero, Alejandro en el front desk y por último aunque no trabaja directamente para el hotel fue recomendación directa de ellos, Jairo y su taxy fueron lo máximo nos paseo por todo Medellín, Guatape, aeropuerto y siempre servicial y de confianza.

La locación es la mejor y las habitaciones perfectas.

Eso sí en la noche espera un poco de ruido de las fiestas al rededor pero no es culpa del hotel aunque si pudieran poner ventanas antisonoras para ayudar a reducir el ruido.

The room was a bit outdated, the service was good (not great as in other Colombia Cities), the breakfast was great, but definitely will not stay again at this hotel.

Overpriced, and the location is bad, we felt unsecure several times during our stay, even when we're eating inside the hotel different people asked for money insistently, try to sell something and walk by again and again. I recognized that the security of the hotel were trying to do their job, but wasn't enough, because he was doing other duties as well. We went to others hotels in others cities in Colombia and weren't felt as intimidating as nearby this hotel.

At least for families is not recommended.

This is my favorite hotel in Medellin. I've been coming here since 2015. The breakfast is excellent, the balcony room is spacious and the water pressure is perfect.

El peor hotel que he estado nunca, a parte de no poder dormir del tremendo ruido, me mancharon una camiseta de lejía, me dejaron el aparato de los dientes tirado por el baño y lo más increíble es que no me dieron ninguna solución ni una misera disculpa. Es carísimo para todo los que hay en la zona! Desde luego sería el último hotel que recomendaría

Staff has gone out of their way on multiple occasions. Room was slightly dated but this was my only complaint. Location is awesome.

Excellent staff they went above and beyond definitely a place to stay when in the lleras park area rooms are great but I’ll recommend if you want a great city view you should reserve better rooms after the 3 or 4 or 5 floor breakfast Is not the greatest but it has good variety but will stay there again

Las habitaciones son super cómodas, el servicio es muy bueno, el personal super amable y la comida deliciosa.

La habitación es muy normal, los cables del televisor todos por fuera, se ven horribles la verdad! El servicio en recepción el caballero muy amable, pero me mando sola al cuarto y la llave descargada! Pedí la carta para la cena y tuve que llamar una 2da vez porque después de 45 minutos esperando no la habían llevado! Pedí una carne termino medio y me la llevaron bien asada: (quede súper aburrida, llame y me respondieron la próxima ponemos mas atención, en la cocina no leyeron bien la salsa de vino tinto deliciosa y las papas también no volvería!

This review is for the restaurant not hotel. This was the worst restaurant experience in Medellin the juice was garbage they don’t even use real fruit the steak was 48000 and just look at the picture of how burn and nasty it was, the fries were saggy and the salad had onion so potent the onion breath would last for a year.

È un buon albergo, con camere grandi e ottimi servizi. Buona anche la posizione e molto pulito. Ci sono due problemi: venerdì e sabato sera si scatena la movida e, pur non essendone nel centro, bisogna usare i tappi per le orecchie (peraltro forniti). Seconda questione i materassi e i cuscini sono rivestiti in plastica, quindi non è piacevole dormirci.

They cancelled my reservation claiming my card had been rejected. I called my bank to check who confirmed no attempt to collect payment had been made. They caused me a huge inconvenience as I had to scramble to book another hotel the day before I was scheduled to arrive from the USA. Oddly, the same card had no issues while reserving the other hotel room.

I will be sure to mention this to everyone of my work colleagues and contacts traveling to Medellín.

Shoddy service by a supposedly decent hotel. I will not recommend this hotel.

Hotel du Parc continues to lie and force me to leave subsequent reviews in response. The hotel first claimed they did not charge us for an additional night. Once we were able to show that they did in fact charge us for this night, they now claim they could not refund me because I booked through Expedia - but I did not book through Expedia. But even if I had booked through Expedia, I had two separate reservations, the second starting four days after the first, so the hotel would have still had the ability to adjust that reservation. Instead, Hotel du Parc had me pay for the second reservation up front at check in (in addition to the first reservation) only to claim I never paid for it and to charge me for it again at the end. But once again, I did not book through Expedia (who I doubt would prevent a hotel from reimbursing its customers for room mixups by the hotel and cancelled flights). This lying has gotten ridiculous…

Following up my original review on this hotel because their behavior has been beyond unacceptable. After reaching out to me to accuse me of having lied in my review, both Hotel du Parc and I took another look at the invoices. After confirming that they likely made an error and had in fact charged me for an additional night's stay, and further learning that I had never received the credit owed to me for having put me in the wrong room for two nights, the hotel stopped responding to me altogether. Save yourself the frustration and stay somewhere else. I have never had a hotel handle customer service so poorly.

This place is beautiful clean with large rooms we stayed in a suite clasico, the bellhop Juan Carlos was very friendly and explained everything when we got to the room. The reason I'm giving this place 5 stars is due
to them going above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. We have a 2 and 4 year old and to my surprise they had an extra bed and crib in the room for my babies, we usually have to sleep with the kids in the same bed, for once I'll sleep not hanging on to edge of bed. The hotel is also located in a great location. Come check it out you won't regret it.

Excellent location, service, amenities and everything you could want. Very happy with my stay there. I will definitely be going there again. I wouldn't be able to say enough good things about the staff. Everyone was extremely nice and extremely helpful.

Went to the spa and got the friends massage and will definitely be going back everytime I am here to visit. Dinner was absolutely fabulous with steak that you could cut with a butter knife and seafood medley over rice that was very succulent!

J'ai appris à mon check-in que je devrai passer ma 1ère nuit ailleurs en raison d'un problème avec certaines chambres dont la mienne. J'étais donc très déçu car j'avais réservé depuis plusieurs mois à l'avance, mais l'hôtel du Parc a géré cette difficile situation avec un grand professionnalisme. Le staff au complet nous a proposé un service de luxe, le dîner offert à titre de compassion était délicieux, ainsi que le massage. Nous avons eu quelques petites attentions du patron fort agréable. L chambre que nous avons eu dès le lendemain était luxueuse, spacieuse et le lit confortable.
Notre meilleur petit déjeuner du séjour en Colombie également. Je mets 4 à cause de l'aléa de la 1ere nuit, sinon je mettrais 5. Merci à toute l'équipe,

OK hotel, little pricy for what you get and kinda worn out. Gym is quite old, few pieces of equipment and no hot showers available. During our stay the elevators broke down and had to carry our own suitcases up.

Lovely hotel, great and attentive service, beautiful art all over. The only downside for us was that weekend evenings in this part of town tend to have lots of music and celebrations.

The hotel itself is beautiful and well situated in Medellín’s El Poblado barrio.

On my second stay, the service is reasonably friendly although peremptory.

An important gap is with the restaurant. Service was slow, and tentative and inflexible.

The hotel is very pretty. The area is central to many cool places to see and restaurants to eat at. The staff is very friendly and helpful

Cuando llegas a Medellín específicamente parque Lleras muy cerca está este maravilloso, hotel que te invitar a pasar a ver sus maravillas en su interior, finos restaurantes atención de sus meseros de primera educados y cultos variedad de comidas y bebidas como dulces helados y postres, acceso sillas de rueda, fina decoración, como estar hotel de primera en europa o estados unidos, linda vista al parque Lleras, al parque poblado y resto Medellín, sala para hacer ejercicios y masajes, mucha seguridad, puedes con tranquilidad pasear y caminar por todo el área donde te encontrarás finos y lujosos mall. Ven al Lleras y no dudes en hospedarse por lo menos una semana aquí.

Horrible people at front desk. Harassing, unfriendly, rude. Forces guests who come visit during day to register, give passports and pay. They even forgot to clean my room and refused to clean it in the evening. Hotel is run down and not a four star by U. S standards. Windows dont keep sound out and ac barely works and is noisy and it is like those found in cheap motels.
