Amo completamente mi experiencia en esté lugar, vale lo que pagas mi color es perfecto, la asesoría exquisita, la dueña es hermosa, sofisticada, la colorista sabe lo que hace, son gentiles, amables y muy profesionales, el lugar es impecable y te dan vino, cerveza, cafe, agua, té etc lo mejor de Medellin gracias livana salon super recomendado, el mejor salon!

Hace unos días me hice el tratamiento de aminoácidos y color en el cabello, lo que ha sido la mejor decisión! Ahora mi cabello luce totalmente restaurado, lleno de vida, definitivamente es muy diferente a la keratina o tratamientos similares ya que no me dejo el cabello graso pero si con un alisado muy natural. El servicio es excelente, me sentí muy acogida por todos sus empleados, más que un servicio es una experiencia increíble que te motiva a volver, el profesionalismo que tienen te permite ver la diferencia.

Simplemente genial, a Livana realmente le importa. Me arreglaron el cabello seco como nadie había logrado hacerlo antes. Incluso cuando el primer tratamiento no funcionó tan bien, recibí un segundo gratis y ¡ahora mi cabello está como nuevo! ¡muy recomendable!

No recomiendo este salón para cabello rizado, no tienen ni idea. Estoy segura de que es genial para el pelo liso. Fui a un tratamiento de queratina, me recomendaron un aminoácido que no funcionó a pesar de que lo hicieron dos veces (creo que en realidad esto fue perjudicial para mi cabello, ya que estuvo quebradizo y débil durante las semanas posteriores). 2 estrellas para el personal agradable que intentó solucionarlo. De todos modos salí conteniendo las lágrimas. ¡También pagué 500000! Realmente triste pero bueno, es lo que es y mi culpa por no seguir con un peluquero especializado en cabello rizado. Normalmente hago mi propio tratamiento de keratina sin formol y sale perfecto pero no pude comprarlo en colombia por eso perdí mi tiempo y dinero en este salón.

Livana salón es simplemente estupendo. Hoy me hice la barba y el corte de cabello y todo fue maravilloso. Desde la entrada sientes una energía muy bonita y te tratan como un rey (o una reina). Lo mejor en definitiva es su servicio y su ubicación.

Es importante tener cuidado al visitar ese lugar, sobre todo por el accionar de ciertas personas del personal. No lo recomendaría.

Apenas salí de allí fui asaltado, lo particular es que sabían el valor total que había pagado en este lugar.

El equipo de Livana Salon es excepcional, desde el principio hasta el final de mi experiencia. Reservé servicios dobles, para mí y mi mamá, con poca antelación y fueron muy serviciales. Los estilistas se tomaron su tiempo para explicarme el proceso del tratamiento y las mejores formas de cuidar la salud de mi cabello. Valió la pena el viaje, ¡definitivamente regresaré aquí para mis tratamientos de rutina!

I had the Californian Aminoacids treatment to straighten my frizzy curly hair. At first I was worried about damage, but I was reassured that this treatment was recommended. They did not disappoint! I am very happy with the results and will most definitely be coming back to retreat it when its time. I've had other treatments done before, however this was by far the best experience I've had. They took great care in every step along the process. In addition, they are very welcoming and kind. A+

Never question why Livana Salon has a 5-Star Rating! It is well deserved and accurate and if possible, I would give it a 10-Star Rating. I had a wonderful experience and was so well treated and welcomed by the entire staff. I made an appointment because the last salon I went to almost ruined my hair because of their bad cutting techniques and was very nervous about attempting another haircut at another salon. But the minute I walked into Livana Salon, I felt at ease and confident I made the right decision. I am from the US and now living in Medellin. Communicating exactly how I wanted my haircut was easy because Livana speaks English and is able to convey her customers’ goals to her very talented staff. Thank you, Livana, and Dahina! You saved my hair and I will be back soon.

Diana was amazing, she understood what I wanted for my hair color and style perfectly. The cut is a good length, and she gave recommendations for products and styles to use to add volume after Ieaving the salon. There is a good energy from all of the stylists here, I'd trust any of them to do my hair any time.

The owner takes pride on her spa.full service for nails and hair. Men Haircuts are 25,000 pesos (about 8 dollars) mani and pedi 50,000 pesos (16 dollars) a full color correction with blow dryer and finish 360,000 pesos (112 dollars). A little high for the average price in the area.but you get pampered with glasses of wine. Great service!

I'm a demanding, vain travelling businessman from Australia terrified of a bad haircut, often scheduling travel to make sure I return to hair safety. A long trip, shaggy hair, and a conference in Medellin meant that need conquered dread, and thankfully at Livana I found an attentive listening hairdresser that didn't try and impose his version of what's right for him rather than me. This salon is amazing- I was lucky have Diana as my stylist- she is INCREDIBLE. I (wish, but) don’t speak Spanish, and she took the time to understand exactly what I wanted- so friendly, so easy- and did a FANTASTIC job on my hair- HIGHLY recommend!

The salon is exceptional & I will come back, if just to get my hair done (if I can’t convince them to come to Texas)!

This is the salon for those who want to go blonde! As a traveler from Texas, I chose this salon based upon the good reviews and I am really glad that I did! The owner speaks English and communicates through Facebook messenger. Whenever I was at the salon, she was very honest about my hair being too damaged for extensions. She recommended some hair masks and treatments to make my hair look healthy again. My hair came out great and I loved my mani and pedi services! The entire staff was great. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for high-quality services.

I love my hair. I was visiting and made an appointment to have a hair treatment and color. Livana salon spoke English and did a good job explaining what they thought was best for my hair. Marianne is a great color specialist. I may need to book another trip to Medellín just to have my hair done!

I had a bad experience at Livana Salon! I asked them to create more layers and cut it shorter but the hairdresser ended up only trimming my hair. I paid for the price of an haircut - the more expensive option, not the cheapest hair tips trimming option. Also, I find it weird that they turned me around so that my chair faced against the mirror - I wasn't able to look into the mirror and observe the process throughout my time there - feels so sketchy and unscrupulous! Would not recommend!

Livana Salon is awesome! I am a natural blonde, but as I've grown older, my hair has darkened a LOT. Highlights have become a regular part of my routine. Unfortunately, at the place I was going to previously, this led to damaged, dry, unmanageable hair. Dayanna at Livana fixed alllllllll that, while making my blonde even better. I was asked to come in 24 hours prior to my appointment so that a mask could be applied to protect my hair for the highlights the next day. After I had it colored the next day, my hair felt silky smooth. Normally, after getting it lightened, it feels like hay - like the kind a horse eats! - for days after. Not this time. This time, it felt better than it did before.

Later, I got my hair cut (not colored) at a different place. The result was totally unmanageable. I went back to Livana, and they applied some treatment that made my hair totally manageable - now I can even let it air dry, which is something I can rarely do with my hair. They also fixed the bad cut I had gotten. I am now several weeks out from that appointment and my hair has remained manageable - the results have lasted!

It's very clear that the owner, Livana herself, truly has a passion for hair. I love going to a place like that, where they are up on all the latest because the owner really wants her salon to be the best. Dayanna, my stylist, is wonderful. She has always known exactly what to do to keep my hair not only beautiful, but healthy. In short, go to Livana, especially if you have damaged hair or want to lighten your hair. You'll have no regrets!

Dayana did an AMAZING job on my hair. I am naturally dirty blonde, but when I get my hair done in the U. S.they can never get the blonde tone right. I generally leave the those salons disappointed with a more yellow tone than I would like. The professionals at Livana completely understood my concerns and did the most amazing blonde highlights that I have EVER had. They also applied a mask that left my hair feeling soft, shiny and amazing. I could not recommend their services more.

My grandmother also came with me to get her gray hair covered on her roots. They matched her roots perfectly and applied a mask sealed with red light to give her super deep hydration. She absolutely loves how her hair looks now!

I cannot recommend Livana Salon highly enough! I found them online after searching for the best colorist in Medellin. I travel a lot so it is difficult for me to find and keep a good colorist. Because of all the amazing reviews, I made an appointment, best decision!

Upon first arriving, Livana did a consultation herself on my hair which proved immediately she is one of the most knowledgeable people I have ever had work on my hair. She immediately noticed the quality of my hair was different in different parts from having 3 different colorists the past 2 years, and noticed the different colors (which were driving me crazy!) She recommended a treatment and a partial color correction to even everything out without damaging or breaking my hair. Her knowledge of international hair having worked in different parts of the world is really great because obviously my thinnish American blond hair is very different than the beautiful thick Colombian hair.

I was then passed on to Diana, an incredible colorist. She took over 5 hours to do the treatments and to work on my hair doing micro baby highlights. I've only had one other person ever do this kind of beautiful detailed work. Thank you Diana!

In the meantime the service was impeccable. They offered to order me lunch. They offered me water, coffee, soft drinks and wine every half hour or so. The white wine was delicious btw. Overall I felt super comfortable there. Everyone was super friendly and accommodating. I felt like I was at home. For me this is so important when spending so many hours in a salon.

And for those needing English speaking, Livana speaks English very well! There will be no communication problems with her in English.

If you are on the fence, make an appointment! You won't be disappointed.

Lovely experience with amazing people, my hair was dry, damege and I wanted to go blonde. Sounds impossible but they made it work! The stylist was looking for solutions for strengthening my hair while also giving me the blonde that I wanted without damaging it. The end result was astonishing. I got babyhightlights and a amino acid treatment. The time and dedication that they put into my hair shows in the end result. I must say if you ever need a salon in Medellin this is the place to go.

I'm not one to write or post reviews, but I just had to take the time to express my gratitude to everyone at this salon. My experience at the salon was OUTSTANDING. On my way to the salon I was freaking out as I'm very hesitant to drastic changes but knew I needed one asap. The moment I walked in I knew I was at the right place. Dayana was amazing.she not only knew what I wanted, she cared and took her time to answer every single question I had. Marianna did an excellent job, very attentive caring and reassuring throughout the process. I went back to have a treatment and met Livana (the salon owner) and she was very assertive. Jimmy did an amazing job with my haircut (which I was hesitant to get done as I love my long hair) but he was wonderful. To say they became like family is an understatement. They will be the only ones to touch my hair going forward. Highly Recommend!

Today I had the pleasure of checking Jimmy Rivera's professionalism, he has surprised me since he worked hard to achieve a unique result in addition to Livana Salón is a place where they give you the best advice and also always treat you with the greatest sweetness.

I came in with shoulder-length hair for a simple haircut of about 6cm. Although Livana seemed to fully understand what I was asking for and translated it clearly to two different team members, they were both incapable of cutting a straight line. Livana's clear, repeated verbal instructions did not help. I ended up having different lengths in different parts around my neck. When I pointed out, that it was by no means a straight line, the first guy asked if I wanted it to be "more" straight? Well, it is either straight or it is not, right? Livana explained why the guys were not able to cut a straight line (according to her, it was one very difficult thing) instead of just offering an apology. Why would she let them cut my hair in the first place when it was such a difficult task, I wonder. I used to believe that cutting a straight line was actually one of the first things a hairdresser needs to master, before cutting hair on real human beings. In order to clean up the mess that both of the guys created in the first place, they had to cut more and more, until it was more or less straight in the end, however, my hair much shorter than I had asked for. Intolerable quality, poor customer service skills from Livana as well as both of the guys, nonserious craftsmanship and only one lovely lady from the team with long, blonde hair who felt decent enough to whisper a: "Sorry" to me. Absolutely not recommending this place unless you wish to be a model or rather puppet for hairdressers in training.

The salon is the high quality of a salon I would find in Buckhead, Atlanta. Great staff and very relaxing atmosphere. I will visit on my next visit to Medellin.

Sometimes, when we’re lucky, we find a place that not only leaves us feeling beautiful and refreshed but also reminds us that we deserve nothing but the best.
Livana Salon has been that and more! I arrived two months ago with damaged hair and a broken self esteem.
Words can’t describe how well I was treated and most importantly how grateful my hair has been. I literally get stopped all over the city to ask where I did my hair. People even think they’re extensions! This is so the place to go for self care, self love and rejuvenation!
Not only have they been amazing but they’re professional, kind and most importantly respect bio safety in light of COVID 19 by only seeing clients with appointments. It’s the right way to go! Anyone who says otherwise is not respecting public health!

Five stars! I have found my Medellin colorist, Dayana at Livana. I arrived with coarse long hair, badly damaged from years of highlights (my natural color is almost black). I wanted short blonde and as platinum as possible. They advised me to be patient and do it right: they only applied a restorative treatment had me return 4 days later, with stronger hair that could take the bleaching. Then, they were meticulous and gave me the best color correction treatment I've ever received. I am stunned! These guys know their color. Love love love my new look, and super grateful!

I came to Livana with dry, brittle, and discolored hair. During my initial consult we reviewed my current hair care routine and identified the culprits for my hair’s suffering. Together we formed an action plan to get my hair to look it’s best. Jimmy, my hair professional, applied an amino acid treatment that left my hair silky smooth and incredibly manageable. The cut, perfectly framed my face. Livana warned me against further damaging my hair with bleach so we toned my hair instead. My friends tell me I look 10 years younger. My boyfriend is obsessed with how soft my hair feels. I am thrilled with my results. Even two months later, after being at the beach, in the river, in the pool, working out, my hair is just as beautiful as the first day. I follow their prescribed hair care routine, keratin shampoo, conditioner and mask to keep my hair looking it’s best.
