El hotel es muy bonito, el personal es agradable. La comida que ofrecen fantástica y en el bar del hotel se encuentra Dani que es el bartender y es increíble, prepara muy buenos cócteles, y además es muy agradable.

Lo único malo es la cantidad de ruido que puede llegar al cuarto por la fiesta de los alrededores, no se puede descansar muy bien. Deben considerar utilizar algún aislante acústico o algo, para proporcionarle un buen descanso a sus huéspedes.

We had a fantastic time doing the coffee tasting experience with Javier. The setting for the tasting was very intimate and the knowledge that Javier was able to share with us was invaluable. The tasting experience gave us a new appreciation for high quality coffee prepared in the correct way.
We were leaving Medellin the day of the experience and Javier was able to accommodate an earlier session, which we greatly appreciated. Highly recommend for both those new to coffee or those who want to gain a different perspective from the typical "commercial" coffee methods we are used to.

Amazing experience from check in to check out. Close to all the action, bars and restaurants in the area. Rooftop also has a beautiful view. Will definitely be staying here again.

This is regarding the coffee tasting experience with Javier. This is a must do experience. He is so knowledgeable and great presentation skills. He challenged us to give our own thoughts on the coffee tasting and I learned so much. I drink a lot of cofffee but never thought about what I was actually drinking. Now I am hooked! 100% recommend!

We came in for dinner at this hotel but we were not staying in the hotel. It took them an hour and a half just to say that the food is taking long cause they are busy. We got frustrated and left instead of them giving us the courtesy drinks on the house.they still charged us and they were upset that we walked out.we should have never paid for the drink.but we still did. The bartender was so rude and wanted fight. Because I told him he charging for a drink that I never ordered. I only told him to clean up the mess I never told him to bring me another drink. If this is how they act, just imagine staying here when there's a problem definitely wouldn't recommend this hotel at all.

I had the best experience at Marquee. The hotel is super chic and located perfectly. I love the comfortable beds. The restaurant is delicious and the staff is great. I highly recommend Fanuel in the dining room. Fanuel helped me every day for my meals and fancy coffees. The ultimate perk of my visit was the front desk team, Jason and Charlie. They helped me settle in and answer every question. I was so happy to have their support on my first visit to Medellín. They reply quickly and easily through text. Win-win for these two going above and beyond.

Carlos, Valentina, and Daniel were the highlight of the hotel. We would go back to the Marquee just for their hospitality! They were welcoming, helpful, and made us feel like family! This team assisted with all our tour and restaurant bookings, getting us in a taxi, making sure we were okay throughout, and giving recommendations to all the local best! I hope we have the same team when we return! The atmosphere and room were just as great. The design of this hotel was well thought out. We had the jacuzzi room which was worth everything and more. We went for my fiancé's birthday and she fell in love as she walked in. When it came time to go she wanted to stay longer! Our favourite part of the room outside of the jacuzzi tub was the personal purified water in the wall! We drank a lot of water so we could use it lol. The bathroom set up was so appealing. The sheets smelt like the best fresh laundry ever (I'm big on things that smell good). The bed felt like we were sleeping on cloud 9. The robes were so soft and comfortable. The view was spectacular from the room and the rooftop bar/pool. They even have a Jazz bar with live performance. It was captivating and the ambiance was superb. The drinks are curated for the Jazz bar so you won't get them anywhere else. We did not eat at the restaurant on property but we will probably try it next time because we are definitely going back to the Marquee! The hotel felt like home away from home! I would 100% recommend! Almost forgot to talk about the nightlife. It was right outside the hotel, no transportation needed. This hotel is in a great location! And the nightlife did not bother us inside our room at all because they have black out shades if you don't want to see the beautiful night view and the lively people down below. And there was no noise to complain about from our room. This is definitely an ideal hotel for any visit. Whether you want to get out and interact or you want to stay in and relax in a quiet environment! Don't miss out on this hotel! Thank you so much Marquee for making our trip to Medellin so perfect. We stay here every time we visit Medellín. The hotel is definitely one of the nicest in the city and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Jason and Carlos at the front desk will get you anything you need. Fanuel greeted us every morning while we ate breakfast at the hotel restaurant. And the bartender, Keyfredo, was on point with his drinks and recommendations. I highly recommend this place!

The staff is bilingual! Friendly, professional and helpful. There is always someone at the lobby in case you need help with something. They are located in a great area because there is so many restaurants at a walking distance. The room was clean and the bed was soft and pretty comfortable. Be aware if you are the only who check-in you cannot bring a guest with you to your room.
Their breakfast and dinner options were really good. I’ll definitely go back to this hotel if I go back to Medellin

Las instalaciones y el personal espectaculares. Las habitaciones muy bien decoradas. La comida de primera. Sin embargo, el ruido en los bares y locales cercanos hace muy díficil dormir. Es realmente una lástima.

One of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed in with the most welcoming staff. We got in before check in and had lunch on the rooftop. The cocktails were superb as well as the food. We stayed in the penthouse and had a gorgeous view of the city. We went out with some of our friends from the U. S.and they were not allowed to come up to our room. I do not fault them for this policy as it is put in place for the safety of the guests. Just keep this in mind when booking. Everything was fantastic!

Impossible to sleep with the noise from the street. Tiny beds. No free breakfast nor parking. Very expensive for what it has to offer.

We stayed here during a big family vacation and Marquee exceeded our expectations. Chain hotels can learn from their excellent service.

My family stayed in one of the two penthouse suites in this hotel and it was absolutely incredible! My husband, our 6 year old daughter and I all really enjoyed the beautiful view of the city, the friendly staff, and the delicious food of the restaurant, Abbiocco. Our bathtub had leaking issues that the hotel was not able to fix but they offered accommodations for it and went out of their way to try to fix it. We loved the staff and our room so much that we honestly did not care that much about it. We just ended up not using the bathtub again to avoid it.

One word of warning—although the hotel itself is awesome, be warned that it is located in a VERY loud part of town. The music booms until 4AM every night and you can hear it pretty loudly, even from the penthouse. It was not a huge issue for us because our daughter is deaf and my husband sleeps like a rock—but if you’re a light sleeper or have kids who sleep lightly, the noise may not work out for you. If you are a young couple or solo traveler who doesn’t mind noise too much, then this is absolutely the place for you!

Otherwise, I would say that this hotel is perfect. The staff goes above and beyond, the design is gorgeous, the food is delectable. We felt safe at all times and the area is highly walkable. Highly recommended.

A stylish boutique hotel in a vibrant part of Medellin. So much to like about our stay (beautiful rooms, fun rooftop pool and bar, inviting seating area off the fabulous lobby bar) but the best part was the outstanding staff, most notably the front desk team! They are all genuinely warm and welcoming, and invested in each guest having the best experience. We were especially impressed by Jason, whose professionalism, stellar service and detail-oriented approach stood out, as well as Carlos for his kindness, warmth, attentiveness, and great travel tips, and Alejandro who looks out for the guests with focus and genuine care. The reception staff was incredibly responsive on WhatsApp, no matter the hour, helping us book car services, spa appointments, restaurant reservations etc. We can’t wait to come back for our next visit. A very well designed hotel, luxury architecture and setting, however, maintaining a young and hip vibe.
In terms of service, this was the best place we have stayed at in Colombia.

The hotel is decorated to a very high standard. Very clean. The entire staff is courteous, welcoming and willing to help with any request or question. Very central location, and we really enjoyed our stay.

El hotel estuvo excelente, al día siguiente de haber llegado a Medellin nos asaltaron de camino al Peñol, pero decidimos quedarnos los días restante ya que el servicio de los chicos de la recepción desde el primer día que llegamos fue excelente Jesus Rivera súper amable, respetuoso, servicial muy profesional en su trabajo al igual que David, Alejandro de la seguridad del hotel es increíble. Las habitaciones súper limpio. Gabriel de la barra es súper servicial. La verdad que volvería y los recomiendo 100%.
Los empleados están muy capacitado en todo su trabajo.
El servicio de transportación súper agradables y nos sentimos seguras.

The hotel is very well located in the lively area of El Poblado. The hotel staff and reception is very friendly and solution oriented. The terrace is giving you great views of the area. The room itself was spacious and very modern.

I really loved the design of the hotel. The room was nice and I loved the projector with a massive screen that I had in my room. I’m already thinking about how I can get rid of my TV and get a projector in my apartment now after my stay. The bathrooms were super nice as well. Amazing views from my room and the top floor view is probably one of the best views you can find of El Poblado. Cool pool on the rooftop. Great food at the restaurant (by Carmen, the best restaurant the brand in Colombia). I ate there three or four times to keep trying new dishes. Overall a great stay and a great option in Medellin.

El hotel es nuevo y moderno. Sin embargo tiene varios puntos a mejorar:
1. La suite no cuenta con kit de baño. No tienen crema para el cuero, kit de limpieza, gorra de baño etc. Únicamente jabón, champú y acondicionador.
2. Tienen muy pocas opciones de desayuno. No permiten hacer cambios en el menú. Si eres vegetarian o vegana mejor busca otra sitio para desayunar. En general la calidad de la comida no compensa el precio que están cobrando por ella.
3. No es un buen sitio para cocktails. They overcharged for cocktails. Doble del precio en los cocteles de un buen sitio. $50k COP por un espresso matrini, cobran por separado los ingredientes del espresso y el vodka que desees. Mejor ve al click clack que cobran $20k por el mismo cocktail (usando kettle one).
4. No puedes añadir cargos del restaurante o bar a la habitación. Debes pagar de inmediato.
5. No hay servicio de botones. No te ayudan a subir el equipaje a la habitación
6. No hay parqueadero y no tienen convenio con ninguno
7. Una habitación suite no cuenta con speaker para escuchar música ni los elementos básicos.
8. No hay servicio de bar en la piscina. Hay bar pero sin bartender. Si quieres algo debes solicitarlo en el lobby para que te lo suban
9. No tienen teléfono en la habitación. Cualquier requerimiento que tengas debes hacerlo por whatsapp y el tiempo de respuesta es muy lento.
En general no recomiendo el hotel.

Este lugar es increíble, me quede con mi comprometido para celebrar nuestra unión incluso también era mi cumpleaños. Todos en este lugar son súper educados y profesionales en el trabajo que ofrecen.
Gracias por todo hicieron que viviera un momento mágico con mi pareja y mis amigos! Volveré pronto.

Nice decoration, good location for clubbing. Rooms are way too small, no closet, do not stay for more than 2 nights because of small rooms.

Nos hospedamos en la suite para celebrar el cumpleaños de mi esposo. El hotel es muy lindo y el personal es amable. El detalle de tener bebidas y snacks complementarios me pareció muy chévere, las amenidades son de Loccitane y la cama es muy cómoda. Se siente el ruido de la calle y las otras habitaciones, pero te dan tapones para los oídos.

Tuvimos una mala experiencia con el desayuno: dos de las 4 cosas que pedimos estaban agotadas, y nos avisaron media hora después. Tuve que preguntar qué más estaba agotado para no pedirlo; sugiero que tengan la iniciativa de mencionarlo al momento de tomar la orden, pues efectivamente tenían más cosas agotadas (todavía faltaban 1,5 horas para cerrar el desayuno).
Al recibir el pedido, faltaba un jugo, lo notificamos y esperamos 40 minutos y nunca llegó. Tuve que bajar a buscarlo, y no lo habían preparado.
En recepción se excusaron, y me ofrecieron una compensación para una próxima visita.la verdad pienso que las reparaciones deben hacerse de manera inmediata, pues es improbable que después de tener una mala experiencia quieras volver, sobre todo cuando has pagado mucho. Más que la promesa de una compensación yo esperaba que por lo menos me dieran el jugo, pero después de recibir las excusas me tocó a mi preguntar si sí lo iban a preparar.llevaba más de 40 mins esperándolo para tomarme unas pastillas.

La carta de desayunos es bastante pequeña, y aunque es un restaurante by Carmen, nos pareció bastante normal.

La unica falla que tiene es su ubicacion para quienes buscamos descansar, pues se encuentra en pleno Parque lleras, que es un parque lastimosamente muy mal habitado y donde hay mucha rumba, gritos y bulla. Esperemos que a futuro, los ciudadanos podamos volver a recuperarlo y que hayan mas inversionistas que puedan hacer de éste, un lugar chevere de nuevo como era hace muchos años

We had another wonderful stay at Marquee. The facility and rooms are impeccable, most of all, the service is incredible that treats you like family. They encouraged me to do a special surprise for my girlfriend. Completely took our breath away with their taste and execution! We will always come back

The experience at The Marquee Hotel is beyond and above exceptional. When you first enter the lobby you can feel a warm atmosphere amongst the unique and luxurious details everywhere. A high ceiling full of light an mirrors will welcome you to a front desk with professional and kind staff members. The bar was just amazing, I had a glass of Kentucky Kiss, a fresh, frutal, well balanced cocktail. The accommodation in our room was just great, high class furniture, a bed so clean and comfortable, and through tje windows, you can enjoy the amazing view from the very heart of the Lleras Park in Medellin.

Hands down, this hotel has the best offer for amusement vs.escape from noise and hectic routines.

The location is right in the heart of Parque Lleras, and the whole building's design is stunning. The room was awesome, had great amenities, and was super quiet which seems like a rare combination these days. The rooftop area with the pool, hot tub, and bar is amazing as well. I ate and had drinks at the downstairs bar a few times and it was really good both times. The staff was super friendly and everyone spoke English, which was very nice since my Spanish is pretty much nonexistent. The Wifi and internet were also super fast. I'm not sure you can ask for much more. I will definitely be staying here again.

This is the newest and nicest hotel in the Poblado area of Medellin! From the moment you enter the hotel, it feels luxurious and cozy. The staff is welcoming and the ambiance is unlike any other hotel around.

The location of this hotel is perfect and very convenient because most things are within walking distance.

The room was classy and clean, the bed was very comfortable, and I especially enjoyed the jacuzzi tub and view from the room. Marble finishes, gold accents, lovely textures, and wood finishes.it's nice. Interestingly, this may be one of the only properties in the city that has central air conditioning (instead of the more common split units), and it's awesome!

We spent all day and night in the hotel enjoying the bar-restaurant-cafe in the lobby, as well as the rooftop pool/jacuzzi and bar. The staff was exceptional. We had ordered bottles of wine (there's a good selection), craft cocktails, food, and everything in between all the while enjoying the rooftop vibes. The staff here at the Marquee Hotel does a great job of making you feel at home and comfortable.

I will definitely be back. If you are visiting, do yourself a favor and treat yourself to this hotel. You will be happy you did.
