Salón Amador

No sé qué es peor si Sonorama o Salon Amador, pero este lugar se llevó el puesto del peor trato al cliente y establecimiento. Lamentablemente no volveré allí, pensé en darle una oportunidad pero me di cuenta que todo es una mafia solamente para que la pases mal si no gastas más de un millón de pesos como ellos pretenden. Bastante clasistas para el mini espacio que tienen para el supuesto “disfrute”

Increíblemente como ha bajado la cálida del establecimiento y su staff incluso atención en la barra. El espacio fue reducido incomodando a quienes no adquieren vip ni palco, haciendo incómoda la experiencia, al comprar alguna bebida incluso saliendo del establecimiento ya sea para fumar un cigarrillo y sobre avisar que estás saliendo con algo de allí, al ingresar nuevamente hacen que botes de mala gana lo que tienes en la puerta porque según ellos no lo compraste allí (aun habiendo avisado) y para terminar en la barra te cobran de 2 a 4k por servicio si no te das cuenta, aún tú comprando en la barra es decir el “servicio” no existe porqué compraste en la barra. Desde que entras todo mal, precios excesivamente costosos y un trato diferente si no consumes los millones de pesos que ellos quieren. Mala atención en todo momento, tienen buen sonido y luces pero para un espacio tan reducido, experiencias malas y cobrarte así sea 2k sin autorización y porqué si no dan ganas de volver a visitar ni recomendar este lugar jamás. Realmente un fiasco…

¡DJ increíbles, sistema de sonido, efectos visuales y el humo frío que salpicaba muchas gotas fue genial!

Sonido bueno solo delante del DJ, cuyo espacio es muy reducido. Mala distribución de los espacios de tránsito, mala actitud del staff; el público no parece orgánico, muchos parecen puestos ahí como de adorno. Sobrevendido muchas veces. Es un sitio donde la gente hace consumo de alcohol y demás, y cuando alguien se pasa el staff solo hace mala cara, haciendo que la experiencia del usuario sea todavía peor.

Me encanta, para mi es la mejor disco de Medellín, el mejor sonido y la mejor atmósfera de la ciudad.

Uno de los mejores clubes del país y del mundo sin duda por su gran variedad musical y por la exquisita programación de artistas cada fin semana en el club. Hacer parte del roster de artistas de este club es todo un honor Larga vida a la #musicatremenda

Este es un lugar infernal! SOFOCANTE, ANGUSTIOSO, no lo recomiendo bajo ningun medio! Y mucho menos si toca un DJ internacional, ahi es cuando el lugar colapsa.fui para victor ruiz, y lo peor de lo peor, me toco escucharlo en el segundo piso en la zona de fumadores.sin vista al DJ.definitivamente medellin si esta muy flojo de lugares para rumba electronica.en fin se les ve el hambre de plata, almenos quiten esas mesas, pa bailar eso es que uno va no? No a dejarles my plata en 400 mil de consumo minimo solo pa tener una pinche mesa.

La música estuvo increíble, los visuales están wow y los speakers y luces increíble experiencia no te la pierdas

One of the best EDM clubs in Medellin. Two floors, main dance area is on first floor, bar and chill area upstairs

Music wise this place is amazing, my last time in the city I went there like 4 times and everytime the music was amazing, specially a night of only female djs, they all killed it. There is a bartender downstairs that wears glasses who was always super nice to us, we loved her!
Now the crowd can be a bit meh, unless you're with a cool group that enjoys dancing and knows how to make space then it's cool, also the closest to the dj booth the most spacious it feels. Didn't see anyone wearing sunglasses even tho the lasers and lights are crazy (in a good way), and even tho it's not a bad atmosphere it still didn't feel like a proper rave crowd.
The second floor is nice when it's not super crowded, the smoking area can get too stuffy.
Overall I think it's a good place to visit if you love hard techno, better to go on Thursday rather than during the weekend.

Un buen club, cuando hacen eventos de electrónica estaría bueno tener un poco más de sonido, lo demás todo bien.

Excelente sitio para disfrutar del techno y la electrónica, dónde siempre llegan grandes DJ's internacionales

De los mejores puntos que he visitado en Medellín, anímate a vivir buena música con buenos DJs eso si de TECHNO, este es tu lugar y además Súper recomendado de mi parte! Un abrazo y espero que pasen bueno

Entry and drinks are like being back home! Super expensive for Colombia and the music was far too loud

Very disappointing venue, DJ's should have been booked elsewhere. The crowd is not into the music at all.

One star for the dj’s! The dj’s were quite good and creative, but overall the club is the worst place I’ve ever been to, to be honest. If you like techno and the techno scene, be prepared to have a bad time here. Vip tables and a really stuck up crowd contribute to a bad vibe. The lighting is also terrible and it feels like you’re in a really tacky club with techno/house music. It is all about seeing and being seen in this club, do not go here if you just want to have a good time.

DJs have no idea how to spin it. Booze is pricy with hardly any alcohol in it.

Es un muy buen lugar para las personas a las que les gusta el techno, tech house y la música electrónica en general.

Sí embargo, últimamente han estado abusando con los precios de la carta.

Es muuuy buen lugar para quien le guste el techno, tienen varios espacios y es ventilado (un súper plus). Hacen muchos eventos para que estén pendientes

¡Qué gran toque la noche que estuve! Estuvo tocando una DJ y al rededor siempre vi gente muy agradable, todos en su cuento, bailando, conversando. El lugar no es muy grande, hace alarde a su nombre: salón. El baño literal es en el patio, pero privado y limpio.

El mejor sonido de Sudamérica, un ambiente espectacular y los DJs nunca decepcionan. Definitivamente una experiencia imperdible para los amantes de la electrónica!

Uno de los mejores lugares para escaparse del reggaetón y bailar al ritmo del techhouse! Tienen muy buena programación de DJs locales e internacionales de géneres techhouse, house y techno, y el lugar es muy agradable! Los precios son altos pero se pueden justificar por la calidad de los artistas programados, y por ser uno de los únicos lugares en la zona del Lleras a ofrecer este tipo de música.

Even if the DJ is good, they fill the place up until you can‘t move anymore! Totally overpriced, only for the high society affordable. NO FUN HERE

You learn a lot when you work with the “urban population”. Working with underprivileged children I have seen how being born into a “lower class” is what really opens doors.mostly closes doors for you. Although I also come from nothing, I consider myself a presentable, well rounded, professional, Latina/American woman. Last nite, after 20 years of traveling and clubbing, my best friend (who is Italian and a business owner) and I, experienced discrimination in Medellin.worst of all, in the EDM community and I’m so confused and disappointed. We specifically planned our night to go to Salon Amador and arrived to a blackout on the block it’s located on. So we killed time by bar hopping in the area and returned an hour later. To our surprise, the bouncer at the entrance told us in Spanish, that “our money wasn’t good there because we looked too urban”. I was dumbfounded and made it clear that I didn’t understand and he responded that the club has a dress code. So I asked if the two ladies behind us would be getting in (and pointed out to him that they too were wearing jeans, top, and sneakers) and he said yes, that they would be getting in. Again I expressed my confusion because the only difference between us was that they looked European and we look Latina. I then asked for a manager and I was directed to a guy at the door that heard this whole conversation already. He basically justified not letting us in by using the word “perception “ about 10 times. Aren’t these other women dressed the same as us (actually less put together). It’s “perception “. When what it really was, was flat out discrimination! Stay away from this place and any place that makes you feel like you’re not good enough because of your nationality. This is not what the EDM community represents (at least not in the US or anywhere else I have traveled).

As a clubbing experience it's a 3 stars at best.
Mid size club. Good music, good sound, but no moving lights at all, the led spotlights mostly flash randomly without too much sync to the music.
Only one bar open where they have some spots "reserved" with ice buckets and people blocking access to it.
Out of the 3 beers on the menu only one available. On a Saturday - mixed crowd of mid 20s to late 30s. Very limited room to move, not to mention dance. Till 02: 00AM when it gets better.
No real goos air conditioning and the smoking space smell creeps in to the main room.

Don't sell lemonade or sprite/7up. Music is terrible. They wanted me to pay 30,000 for rum and coke which was so strong it was literally undrinkable. Will not return

Not a bad club - located in the city center. Music is tech house. Can get full. Women don’t pay up to a certain time of the night. Service is friendly and drinks are strong

Very good experience of having a tasting menu accompanied by great service and atmosphere.
They are very conscious about Amazon’s culture, so you don’t just learn about food but also about the region.
The presentation of the dishes is very impressive and creative.
