The Click Clack Hotel Medellin

El trato que nos dio el personal del hotel mientras buscábamos un lugar para cenar y disfrutar de la piscina sin ser huéspedes fue increíblemente decepcionante. A pesar de nuestra intención de gastar dinero en sus servicios, fuimos recibidos con hostilidad como si nuestra presencia no fuera bienvenida. Nos dejó sintiéndonos desvalorizados e indignos de la hospitalidad básica, lo que restó valor a nuestra experiencia y empañó nuestra impresión del establecimiento.

Nunca recomendaré ese lugar.

Mi esposo y yo decidimos quedarnos aquí y no nos arrepentimos. Excelente experiencia, super limpio, y espectacular. Nuestra mesera Tatiana fue super atenta y amable. Nos sentimos como en casa por todo el equipo de Click Clack.

Potentially the worst hotel I’ve ever been. You are supposed to be able to sleep in a hotel but forget about doing so in this one. Music volume is so high that it is imposible to close your eyes and rest. DON’T GO THERE!

Worst hotel ever I will never come back again we had invited friends over to have a few drinks in our suite and they refused us to let me back in our room! To all the Miami people don’t ever come to this place I’ll give it a 0 Star!

Horrible. I arrived at 7pm and checked in. My girlfriend arrived at 8pm and they wouldn’t let her in. I paid for two people. They said the front desk clerk wasn’t available and sent her away telling her she wasn’t welcome at the hotel. She called me crying so I went to the front desk. They told me she can’t come in even though she is my guest. There was no one available. They said she wasn’t registered. The whole pint was to register her. So we left.
At pool I ordered food. When I went to the bathroom they took it away before we ate it. Then when I asked where my food was and they told me they threw it away because I left. Meanwhile my jacket and my drink were still at my seat. Then they told me there was no way they would take the food off my bill since it was my fault that I left it on the table. Where else should I eat it? This hotel pretends to be cool but they have the WORST customer service I have seen in a long time. At the end the told me it “was my problem” that I ordered the rice And I should pay. I asked for the hotel manager and they got scared and walked away. If you can deal with very bad service then you can stay here. But if you want a real hotel with real service then book somewhere else. I will never come back. They are extremely rude.

The hotel is beautiful, but not very functional. It's noisy and the rooms are small and impractical. I wish I liked it better - it was a promise that wasn't delivered.

Love the concept, the rate, the location, the energy, everything is just curated so delicate and nice.

Shower is integrated to the room and with transparent walls, if you are sharing room with a friend it is very uncomfortable. Additionally you can hear loud music from the downstairs bar from the room and the wifi does not work inside our room. The vibes are great tho so do recommend to stop by for a drink.

An example of how bad service can affect a hotel!

We stayed at The click clack hotel in Medellin, Colombia from October 14 2021 for five nights. While the plus points for us was location of the hotel, some negative points to note which made our experience an unfortunate one: the first red flag, we paid for transportation service from the airport to the hotel, they forgot, we had to call the hotel, they showed up one our late. We were a big group we rented 6 rooms including some suites, one the suites was reserved for part of the group checking in three days after us. That was a nightmare, the receptionist at front desk Andres was extremely unprofessional, very rude and disrespectful, since the first day we checked in we made sure at the front desk that they had all the personal information on the guests coming on a later date, even paid for the room and having two different credit cards on record, we were not at the hotel when my family arrived, that’s the reason we made all the arrangements and thought everything was taking care of. This guy at the front desk Andres very incompetent and again RUDE. He told my family that room was not paid for it and that he need a credit card which they already had on record, with a very arrogant attitude he didn’t even want to speak to me on the phone so I could have explained the situation. I had to make a phone call and ask for the hotel manager by the name of Sara, I have to say very professional and handled the situation very nicely and took care the mess of this extremely unpleasant experience. This guy obviously working on the wrong profession or on the wrong position. Having so many Hotels options in Medellin, I won’t stay at this hotel again.

Booked a room for same night over the phone and by the time I got to the hotel they just told me they didn’t have it. Booked a suite and paid top dollar and they just continue to shrug at me

Más "facha" q otra cosa. Hotel totalmente impersonal. Las habitaciones, si estas con algún desequilibrio emocional, sencillamente aplican para el suicidio, espacios recargados dentro de su modernidad, oscuros (parece el cuento de e.a. P.la máscara de la muerte roja). La atención, bueno.si estas hart@ de ese personal de servicio barato, pero muy cool, ojo. (y de alta rotación), al q le pedis 3 cosas y dos te las hacen mal.ni lo intentes. La recepción es caótica. Positivo.el primer consumo del frigobar es free, el parlante que teníamos en la habitación, era un Marshall que sonaba de 10. De resto.un hotel al q no volvería.

Un lugar muy moderno, bonito y con vatios espacios. Tiene restaurantes y un bar para comer. Les recomiendo el restaurante Thailandes. Los baños son mixtos para todos igual. Manejan el tema de la higiene por la cultura de cada uno.

I spent 2 nights in this amazing hotel, I came all the way from Dubai to experience this beautiful masterpiece.

Horrible experience. Checked out the hotel with several bags. Uber driver was parked on other side of hotel so he helped us with bags. To get to his car We had to go back in hotel to get to the other side and the staff wouldnt let us go back in. Becuase we were “checked out” What type of attitude is that? So had to carry our bags and walk a block. Stay away from here and there HORRIBLE pompus disrespectful staff.

My money was “good” while i was checked in, but when i check out was treated like a stranger. How is it i couldn’t get to the other side of the street with my bags walking back through the hotel? Unbelievable

Se tuvo la experiencia de estar en la zona de restaurantes con diferentes alternativas a seleccionar comida griego, tailandés, mar e internacional.
Un espacio muy agradable en la noche, al aire libre al interior de las instalaciones muy modernas y disfruta la buena música mezclas Longe.
En esta oportunidad se tuvo un rica cena de restaurante internacional hamburguesa.
Y amigables con los animales.

Definitivamente recibimos mucho más de lo que esperábamos. Fuimos con mi esposo para celebrar nuestro aniversario y aparte de la comida de bienvenida que pedimos que se veía perfecta y estaba deli, nos dieron una tarjeta especial por la ocasión con un mensaje escrito a mano. La habitación tenía un diseño magnífico y muchos detalles que iban más allá de lo común. Las lámparas, los detalles en los baños, todo bellísimo. Pedimos room service, perfecto, la comida muy muy rica. Daniela y Milena fueron las mejores anfitrionas, nos hicieron un tour por todo el edificio (enorme!) y tanto ellas como todas las personas que allí trabajan fueron excepcionalmente amables. El desayuno, es tanto, que es más como un brunch que uno se tiene que comer con calma y la vista de la piscina, única. Recomendadisimo!

El lugar es hermoso sin duda cualquiera y la comida es buena con los precios adecuados. Tenia planeada una salida con unas 5 amigas para tomar algo y tomar unas fotos bonitas aprovechando el ambiente del lugar (con la cámara profesional de una de las amigas). Para evitar posibles inconvenientes la noche de la salida decidí hablar con la administradora con anticipación. Me acerco una señorita, Daniela, y me comento que el derecho a tomar fotos tiene costo (el cual ella no sabia exactamente pero me dijo que como el precio de mitad del día en la habitación para un fotoset es 2.500.000 COP, entonces el derecho de tomar fotos en 1 solo ambiente del primer piso es mas o menos de 1.300.000, y si queremos tomarlos en varias partes del hotel - cada parte tendría el costo de 1.300.000. También dijo que una noche tiene costo de 800.000 COP. Y luego en Tripadvisor ví que una noche vale 300 mil pesos mas o menos. Después de explicarme los precios (la verdad pareció que ella los inventaba en camino) me preguntó para que eran las fotos y yo dije que solo eran para el instagram personal, entonces me pidió que le enviara un correo y también el link a mi instagram (como para considerar si merezco el permiso o para que? !). Solo tengo curiosidad si toda esa política es verdad o solo era para mi porque soy extranjera (aunque vivo acá 8 años y no soy una turista que no sabe nada).

I had an unwelcome guest removed by security and I was charged $90 usd for an extra person in my room! Management handled the situation very poorly! Extremely dissatisfied

Don't go there when it's raining. It's nice and open in the lobby and the rooftop bar, but when the sun turns liquid, you are soaked! And no way to Access the elevators without full exposure to the deluge.

We stayed here while visiting Medellin in February. It's a very nice, modern hotel with a dark aesthetic and a delicious breakfast, however, we did have number of issues during our stay. The hotel generally is not super clean and our room had a bit of a musty smell. The hotel also features cellphones instead of room phones. This is theoretically very handy if you're visiting without a local SIM card, however, the phone was excruciatingly slow and the data and phone service did not work for us outside of the hotel despite us being told it would.

There was also no free water at the hotel - considering tap water is not recommended to drink in Medellin, there really should at least be some complimentary water provided (IMO unlimited free water considering the price of the hotel). The pool was closed for maintenance our entire stay, however, we were not notified beforehand. Visiting from a cold country, the rooftop pool was a big selling point for us. Another issue was that the complimentary mini fridge snacks included a chocolate bar that was already eaten. Lastly, we also had issues with the air conditioning in our room and our room / elevator keycard needed reprogramming 3 times over our 4 night stay.

Este lugar tiene un ambiente chevere, tiene varios restaurantes, se llena mucho, es un poco costoso pero lo vale.

Muy lindo el hotel. Pero las personas que trabajan en el deben de estar más preparadas para trabajar con turistas. Estuvimos varias amigas para celebrar la despedida de soltera de una de ellas y tuvimos un inconveniente. Quisimos subir al Rooftop a pasar una noche tranquila y disfrutar del lugar y nos trataron mal, nos hicieron sentir como prostitutas, nunca preguntaron si éramos huéspedes, simplemente nos dijeron que no podíamos subir, la señora de la seguridad del hotel tuvo un mal comportamiento y nos hizo sentir incómodas. Se quisieron disculpar al otro día dejando 2 dulces y una nota en la habitación. Por lo demás unos días que disfrute mucho.

I am giving the Click Clack Medellin a 5 star review because although I have some issues with the property, most have been resolved and I think this will be the premiere hotel in Medellin and Colombia in the coming months and years.

First off, the Charlee Hotel is awful. So if you are considering between the two choose Click Clack. I hate the Charlee Hotel for a myriad of reasons I will not get into here.

Let me first highlight some of the things I love about the Click Clack hotel. Firstly, the location is tops. It’s a couple blocks north of the craziness of Parque Lleras and on a quiet corner. Second, the design is incredible. The rooms, the courtyard, the layout, the black steel and the details. The shower in the room is heavenly and a private dark illuminated toilet is something I and Al Bundy have always dreamt of.

The Click Clack also offers three restaurants. One is Greek, one is Thai and the other continental as well as a stylish bar and cute lobby. The space is trying very hard to be cool but ultimately succeeds.

Another thing to love is the breakfast. The complimentary breakfast is awesome and generous. Our waitress Mariana was attentive and her supporting team made us feel the love on every morning of our stay. Juliana (blonde) is the head of food and beverage and she is also lovely and attentive.

Now, to highlight some of my issues that have now been resolved. The first was when I was here last week the rooftop pool was open for a couple nights. It is breathtaking and stylish and that was the reason I booked this property. Upon arrival I was disappointed to find out the pool is only opening TBD. If you are staying at the Click Clack Medellin before it does then I suggest confirming the pool will be open before that time. Another issue, was the disorganization of the check in process and the lateness of availability of our room.

Luckily, all of these problems were resolved by an incredible young woman named Alice from Italy who runs the Guest Services Department for the Click Clack Medellin. Alice is diplomatic and kind and ultimately she is the reason the hotel gets this 5 star review and not one or two stars lower.

Another thing I should say is this hotel is young. The staff are young and very beautiful. Half of them look like they are models and probably some of them were in Venezuela before moving to Colombia. If you are middle aged or old like my father’s age you may feel a bit out of place at this hotel. The lobby vibe is very similar to the Ace Hotel or the Mondrian or the Standard Hotels in the United States.

Anyhow, if you come to the Click Clack enjoy their restaurants but also try Bárbaro a great steakhouse next door and Justo and Terraza across the street. And if the pool is open by the time you get here enjoy it and think of me.

Excellent new hotel in Medellin. My booking included breakfast and was an impressive breakfast with many different options of omelettes and Pancakes or French toast.very modern and the location is great close to everything.

By far one of the best hotels I've stayed at. Everyone is extremely attentive and super friendly. I will definitely be staying here when I return.
