Mi experiencia ha sido excepcional, es un lugar muy acogedor, los encargados del servicio son una persona muy educadas, profesionales y serviciales; sin duda es un lugar muy cómodo y confortable para visitar.

The place is great! Beds are comfortable, workers are friendly and always ready to help you and answer all your questions. There were free yoga and salsa classes for everyone who wants. On the reception you may find different tours which you can join for research the city. Don't hesitate and choose this place!

Nice hostel. Good breakfast options, nice location and rooms were clean and tidy. Only negative was my key card kept being faulty and they place music way too loud in the common areas.

Nice staff / private room we had was great, but we were kept awake until 2am by some inconsiderate people in internal courtyard - playing music and talking loudly. If staff could make sure this does not happen and enforce the quiet hours, would be a 5/5.

Nice enough place, good for a quiet visit but unlikely to make friends here. Better off going out for breaky and book your own transport to airports, we booked through the front desk who must have called a "mate" and 35 minutes later they still hadn't shown, we missed our flight. Uber would have been 10 mins wait but we kept being reassured they were "almost here". Not the hostels fault but an unpleasnant end to our time

That's a great hostel! I stayed for a week and felt like home. The staff are super nice and happy to help, the location can't be better, the beds are comfi and provide privacy and the showers are hot and amazing. Definitely recommend!

All in all a great experience! I love Bogota and the area around the hostel. Inside it's very cozy, nice house and great people!

Me quedé 2 noches en el Masaya Bogota. Las habitaciones compartidas son muy confortables y limpias. La ubicación perfecta en la Candelaria. Y el staff muy agradable (muchas gracias Anna Maria y Gabriel!). Lo recomiendo!

Per essere un ostello davvero ottimo, la nostra camera singola era pulita, con un bagno spazioso e doccia enorme, letto grande e comodo, colazione buonissima. Davvero consigliato per questa tipologia di struttura! Un particolare ringraziamento alla gentilissima Ana Maria che ci ha aiutato e accolto nel migliore dei modi:)

Las habitaciones son increibles, estaba con una amiga y reservamos un quarto compartido solo para mujeres que estaba super limpio. El bano tiene todo lo necesari. Las camas son grandes y comodas.bien recomandado!

Writing a review based on my spouse stay at Masaya hostel. Firstly I will comment that the common areas are clean and spacious. The experience I had during my stay was disgusting which made me leave the next morning and book a hotel. I arrived later in the evening and my bed in a shared dorm had sheets full of body hair everywhere in my bunk area. On the sheets which were crumpled up on the bed, in my pillow. I had a booked my stay a few days prior to my arrival so there was no excuse for this to be awaiting for me. I had to sleep with my clothes on and had an incredibly horrible sleep. The mess and garbage from other guests was everywhere and I had to climb to my bunk stepping over other guests belongings that were scattered across the floor. I left immediately upon waking and booked a hotel elsewhere. I have been to 47 countries and never in my traveling career have I experienced this in a hostel.

Very nice hostel in very good location, good breakfast included! Rather calm so if you are looking for party and to socialize a lot there will be better places (kike at the reception was amazing)

Best hostel in Bogotá. The beds and pillows are excellent. Laundry service is on point. And the staff are exceptionally friendly. Much better than any other hostel is stayed at! Definitely going back. 5/5

Masaya Hostel is an amazing place, probable the nicest hostel I have ever stayed at. The staff are some of the most accommodating people, especially as a foreigner, from local places to check out, to help with Covid testing for traveling home. Would recommend to everyone.

El encargado de recepción me irrespeto y amenazo con traerme a la policía por tocar a su puerta a las 11 pm solo para preguntar junto a un otro huesped si era posible obtener un servicio o justo abrir la puerta para recibir un rappi, luego de eso al intentar cambiarme de hostal al otro dia el había llamado al otro hostal a decir que yo era una cliente problemática, eh pasado un momento muy vergonzoso, ah sido la peor experiencia que eh tenido en un hostal en la candelaria. El lugar es bonito pero la cocina no es muy limpia, hay cucarachas en la estufa y la nevera estaba muy sucia.

Excelente ubicación, en completo acople a la cultura que lo rodea. La Candelaria multicultural y diversa, disfrute de la Feria diversa que integra ambientes dentro del hostel con diferentes emprendedores locales para exaltar su esfuerzo y dedicación.
El servicio siempre está atento a lo que se requiera.

Una casona remodelada que está en la vanguardia de lo necesario para los huéspedes.

El desayuno en su zona de frutas exalta la diversidad en frutas que tiene Colombia.

Habitación ventiladas e iluminadas directamente, con nombres de los diferentes departamentos o municipios.

Todo en sintonia del concepto que tienen "Experience 360".

It was my second hostel stay ever and I didn't know exactly what to expect. Overall it was a great experience in their private room. The included breakfast (with the private room) was filling and had a great sampling of different local fruits. Our first night we did have a room that was less than desirable. Room 17 and 18 are right next to the main hang out area. The music and people's conversations end up being pretty loud. I would avoid those if you could. They moved us when we complained which made us infinitely more happy. Also, I might recommend bringing some ear plugs if you are a light sleeper due to the creak of the bed with any movement. It was pretty comfy for a hostel bed though.

This is a correction to my previous review. I talked to the front desk about the noise issue and they were very helpful and gave us another room. The new room was much quieter and made the stay far more enjoyable. The location is very convenient for daytime excursions. The breakfast is included, it was probably the healthiest meal I had on my trip.

Masaya was super clean, colorful, cute and fun! They had fun activities every night and a wonderful breakfast! The beds were the most comfortable I had in Colombia and the staff was very friendly! The location was amazing too as it was an easy walk to both the historic area and where we did the graffiti tour! They had a video of other Masaya properties. And I hope to stay at one of those too!

Gran lugar para practicar idiomas como inglés (tanto americano y británico) frances, alemán y portugués.

A wonderful hostel located in the Calendaria area of Bogota. They have a lot of social activities such as cooking and salsa classes. Definitely the best place in Bogota for meeting fellow travelers. I would definitely come back again!:)

El sitio es chévere para el intercambio de idiomas de Dame tu lengua, pero la fiesta que sigue no tiene tan buen puente como otras en sitios similares.

Buen sitio para practicar idiomas; hacen eventos el tercer sábado de cada mes para practicar idiomas con los turistas extranjeros. Los cócteles de buenos precios y las instalaciones son buenas

Es un hotal lleno de tradición y de turistas internacionales, se abre al intercambio lingüístico, con eventos de conversación en diversos idiomas, buena cocina, y los eventos terminan con una amena fiesta

Es muy buen lugar para hacer amigos y pasar un rato agradable, pero se queda pequeño cuando hacen eventos y se vuelve un poco incómodo.

They permit me walk a little aroumd the place and. It's amazing. You have balconies, you can see the mountains. And for me the most interesting activitie was on the exchange language room. The main room have a glass on the roof and it's amazing to se the sky all the time.

I really loved this place. On the expensive side but it was worth every penny. The 6 bed dorm was huge and the lockers in there too. The curtains give you privacy and the showers were the best I have ever had in a hostel:)
The staff was funny and always helpful - all of them (incl restaurant and cleaning)!
Breakfast only included for private rooms otherwise 10'000COP if you book it the day before and it was amazing: D

Es un lugar acogedor, cómodo y de ambiente relajante. Me causó la impresión de que resultaba ordenado integralmente con mucha naturalidad, situación que está acompañada de un estilo bastante casual.

Muy recomendado para descansar, incluso si vives en Bogotá (como yo) y quieres salir de la monotonía de casa, vale la pena que pases a conocer Masaya Hostel.

Además creo que la relación entre costo y servicio es justa.

Un ambiente excelente con eventos de intercambio de idiomas con extranjeros, bebidas, comida, música.

Great backpackers hostel, very nice hot showers. Breakfast is very good, a lot of different choices and the beds are really good. The staff is also very friendly.

There was building work going on.
Our room on the ground floor was quite cold and a bit damp. The lights weren't very good so it also appeared a bit dark.
The breakfast was great with loads of fresh fruit, the staff were really friendly and helpful and the shower was hot.

Great hostel, they do themed nights plus they are able to book tours for you. We booked a 6 bed dorm but arrived early at 6am. Room obviously wasn’t ready so we upgraded to a private room and checked in straight away.
Our second night they upgraded us for free from a 6 to a 4 bed door. No extra charge but then they had a free private room again and let us check in there. Really nice and clean rooms.

There are works going on in the hostel between 11-5 pm to create more bathrooms as there isn’t many. We never had to wait for them though.

The men’s showers were 50% of the time cold and 50% hot. Just depends on the time when you have one.

Breakfast was great! Pancakes, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit and coffee. The staff for breakfast weren’t great as the scrambled eggs would run out at 9am but the breakfast closes at 11am.so needs to be updated more often.

WiFi was great and was in the rooms.

A good chain hostel and will stay again!
