El personal fue A1 muy amable Jorge y Veru, el mejor servicio de Columbia, la comida deliciosa y las vistas para morirse.

Gran cena para 2 (tapas para 2) un lunes por la noche. La vista es muy bonita y una buena A+ por el servicio.

Nos alojamos en Lunatico por el corto paseo. Las buenas críticas han sido confirmadas. El ambiente es realmente muy agradable. Todo es un poco más tranquilo que en las calles principales. También una bonita vista de la fortaleza. ¡El servicio fue muy amigable! ¡La comida llegó muy rápido y todo fue realmente genial! La carne se cocinó a un punto perfecto y medio cocido. ¡Los precios son justos! Con mucho gusto otra vez. También recomendado para tapear.

Jorge fue nuestro camarero y fue absolutamente fantástico. Muy tranquilo y atento a cada detalle. ¡La comida estaba fuera de este mundo! Increíble ceviche. ¡Debes probar los ñoquis de yuca!

La comida era deliciosa y Dilan fue un servidor fantástico. También hicimos el tour de carrera y chocolate, ¡lo cual recomendaríamos!

Mi primera parada en Cartagena. Qué gran vibra. Nuestro camarero fue Dylan, que fue súper atento y paciente a pesar de que apenas sabíamos nada de español. Definitivamente pide el ponche de ron de maracuyá. Fue hecho con amor

Pedimos un pan con Tomate que estuvo fatal, la tabla de embutido traía este mismo pan, salimos del lugar sintiendo que nos comimos un picadillo de ajo, el ambiente muy bien el lugar tiene una gran vista, muy organizado y cómodo pero.

Pedimos un pan con tomate, que estuvo muy feo, era tomate con mucha cebolla y ajo, todo crudo y en exceso sobre el pan. También pedimos una tabla de embutidos que traía el mismo pan con el tomate, ajo y cebolla picados y crudos, con sabor desagradable. Los embutidos estuvieron bien. El servicio regular, el mesero no conocía bien la carta y cuando pedimos llamar al chef para presentar la queja sobre el pan con ese picadillo de tomate, ajo y cebolla crudos, el mesero de excuso con que el chef había salido.

Great dinner. Service was fantastic - friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and very accessible for vegetarians/vegans. While it’s a little out of the way (by one block) the space is very nice with a great view of the Castillo de San Felipe and the wall. Highly recommend. Don’t skip trying the desert Salvando el Planeta!

Where do I even begin! This is a treasure in the beautiful city of Cartagena. The food was absolutely phenomenal! The service provided by Scarlett, our server, was diligent and prompt. The cook prepared out meals with such delicacy and detail. My plate looked like a work of art. I highly recommend this place. Btw the view from the second floor is amazing too.

This place has a wonderful ambience with great views, good music and amazing food! My chocolate dessert came in the form of a plant! Multiple options for vegetarians too. I highly recommend this place.

This place is a gem. The food was extremely good and Kari was a fantastic waitress. Would definitely recommend.

Went on a Friday night before close.maybe that was the problem eg I should not have went 30 minutes until close. I was not offered a menu but told what they can make. I received vegan ceviche that did not fit the menu description online. It was okay, but would not return especially considering the price to portion size.

Amazing and welcoming staff, food is still the tastiest and highest quality I have eaten in Cartagena while being cheaper than the tourist trap restaurants in the very center. To top it all Off the views of castle san felipe are great!

Jorge took excellent care of us! We had drinks, tuna tartare, patatas bravas and bread rolls w/ house made dip, everything was soooo good! I loved the roof top with the view of the castle, and there was a breeze upstairs too (which was very nice). I would highly recommend!

I highly recommend this restaurant! The staff were friendly, attentive and knew the menus very well. The food was absolutely incredible, I recommend doing tapas because you’ll want to try literally everything! Come for some amazing food, good vibes and great company. What a fantastic find! Beautiful view over the wall of the castle, water, and city. The food was phenomenal as well. Go for the Tuna Tartar! Best part was the service and hospitality. Jorge was attentive and provided great recommendation while still letting us relax and enjoy this amazing atmosphere.

Il ne manque pas grand chose pour que l'on parte dans un voyage des saveurs! Dommage car les serveurs sont très sympat et le cadre et agréable. Les beignets au poulet et à la béchamel manque de goût, on ne sent pas le goût du poulet. La tortilla avec les oignons caramélisés serait nettement meilleure. La sauce des crevettes était excellente mais les crevettes semblaient congelés. Rien dans ce que nous avons mangé justifié un tel rapport qualité prix!

Our group of 6 visiting from California had such a fun time with and learned a ton. The dishes themselves were light, zesty, and delicious. We will definitely be recreating here in the states. Definitely would recommend for a fun activity with friends / family I’m Cartagena! Great views, food, and restaurant. Thanks again!

My girlfriend and I attended the 10: 30 am cooking class with Chef/owner Maria Delgado. She grew up in Cartagena and attended cooking school and then worked in Spain (Basque country and Barcelona) for ten years before returning to Colombia to open this business. It was a FANTASTIC experience worth every peso. She is very generous with her knowledge and experience, very kind, and a real pleasure to be around. Highly recommended for a genuine Colombian experience.

The Chef/Owner Maria Delgado is extremely skilled and kind. She grew up in Cartagena and trained in Spain, where she worked for ten years in restaurants in the Basque region and Barcelona. Her Colombian/Spanish fusion cooking, using fresh local ingredients, is well balanced and delicious. Also highly recommend her daily cooking class at 10: 30 am - an awesome experience where you get to eat what you create.

We had a few dishes and everything was delicious. A bit pricey, but the quality justifies it. Creamy rice was super good.

The seafood was excellent. Small plates and not cheap, but certainly high quality, and great service by Cartagena standards.

Picture shows large octopus scallop shrimp but you get very very small seafood with lot's of noodles.

Wow! What an amazing experience! We took the chivce cooking class, made some really colorful and interesting dishes in a clean high-end studio. The studio was fully equipped for all participants, we had two phases of cooking, eating and drinking. I highly recommend that

Nice Restaurant with a big terrace overlooking the citywall, great healthy and vegan food options.

Semi-upscale, upstairs, spacious joint. Clean bathrooms. The waitress was patient with us (me and my guide from ShowAround).

I ordered Angry Eggs with Yucca, and a local beer. The portion size was "European" (see photos), which I liked. The food itself was a bit tough, and rather unseasoned. At that moment, I started to understand that maybe - just MAYBE - Colombian cuisine is not what i expected I'm glad I still have about a week to try other places before making up my mind.

The ambiance was good, we sat overseeing the Fort and part of a river/bay, and the ground traffic below.

Desde la fachada exterior, hasta el interior sencillamente hermoso, la vista hacia el castillo de San Felipe le da un toque mágico, los costos y calidad van de la mano, ubicado en el centro histórico, recomendado ir!

You would be a lunatic not to give this place a chance. Their americano was bitter with a full bodied earthy aftertaste and they have an open concept patio with a panoramic view of the city. Check it out.

My favorite meal of Cartagena! Must get the dirty eggs and yucca gnocchi and octopus. Highly recommend!

Tuvimos una increíble experiencia de cocina costeña con María en el Caffé Lunático, 1000% recomendado.
María es una tremenda chef, con mucha dedicación, paciencia y disposición, para que juntos cocináramos los mejores platos. Nos contó la historia de cada uno de ellos y algunos tips para poder replicarlos en nuestro país. Cocinamos juntos ceviche de pescado con salsa de plátano, mote de queso, posta cartagenera con plátano tentación y el dulce de tomate de árbol. Para rematar compartimos la mesa con un buen vino chileno.
Estamos ansiosos para volver a cocinar estas delicias costeñas.
Muchas gracias María, todas estas experiencias e historias, mas allá de la cocina, quedarán para siempre en el recuerdo de nuestra visita a Cartagena.

Great place! Great food and great service from Agosto! It would be a perfect place to sit and work for the day or chill with friends.

Decent vegan option: lentil burger with potatoes. The patty contains curry which doesn't match perfectly. Comes with a sauce - make sure it's vegan, because they first brought us one that contained eggs. Nice view and atmosphere.
We also had the homemade ice tea which tasted like spiced chai - highly recommend.

The Cooking class was an amazing experience and the instructor was outstanding! An extremely fun night to learn some new dishes and enjoy them, food was delicious.

Summary - freshly made, clean, good for smaller groups, tapas, don't be in a rush.

Went in after walking the street looking for street art. First, don't be in a rush to order, get your food, or your check - this place is slow but it's a good thing. They take their time to explain the menu if needed and the cooks make sure each dish is perfect. While I only ordered one dish, I saw many come out of the kitchen and each one looked mouth watering.

My bass ceviche was full of flavor and when ordering ceviche, I only order from places I trust are clean. The menu is large and has good diversity but tapas is the game here, however, if you want a larger plate they have options.

The drink options will not disappoint, I went with a beer to pair with the food but I should have tried one of their blended drinks. Everytime I saw one leave the kitchen I got jealous, next time I will be ordering one of those.

Come and relax but make sure you have the time, don't be in a rush!

Go see Chef Maria for the best cruising Cartagena has to offer! We have eaten here half a dozen times and most recently did the cooking class. Worth every penny, and the experience was incredible!

Probably the best limonade de coco in cartagena. Possibly in colombia. Fresh as a salmons scales and sweet as a baboons tooth pick.

2nd table to be seated after opening. Had a Club Colombia beer. The restaurant started filling up, and everyone was getting there food while we waited. After an hour, I noticed an employee carrying lots of styrofoam meal containers (from another restaurant?). We ordered a 3 more beers to find out they had no more cold. It was then we decided to leave. Too bad, as we heard good things, and were looking forward to eating there. Everyone seemed to be enjoying their food. I know nowhere is able to please everyone every time.

My girlfriend and I read abou this place online and decided to visit it and I can tell you that this is one of the best, if not the best restarurant in Cartagena. We loved every bit of it, the food, staff, owner, everything. If we ever come back to Cartagena we will be back here for sure!

Cocktails were slightly on the expensive side. Burgers were a let down, with not a lot of flavour and very dense/dry buns. Patatas bravas were good, as was the garlic shrimp. Nothing about the atmosphere or service stood out.

Tried a range of dishes and found most were bland and had something missing - flavour. I think the price is also a bit much. There are some fantastic restaurants in Cartagena but this one didn’t stack up for me. Shame.

We took a ceviche-making class with Chef Maria at Caffe Lunatico and can’t say enough good things about it. The cafe is charming, and we wish we’d discovered it sooner than our last night. Based on Chef Maria’s attention to detail and culinary talents, we know we would’ve had an amazing meal here.

The class alone, though, made us swoon and taught us some tips we’ll absolutely take back to our home kitchen. We did a sea bass version (for me) and vegetarian version with mango, coconut, and edible flowers (for my husband). It was an unforgettable experience and a lasting memory of our time in Cartagena. Definitely take this class if you enjoy unique experiences and wonderful food. Big thanks to Chef Maria for the warm welcome to her lovely cafe!
