Posada La Fe

Fui en agosto con mi novio. A pesar de estar en un lugar concurrido (como todo lo turístico en Cartagena), nuestra habitación era tranquila, acogedora, la cama genial, aire acondicionado súper frío (cartagena tiene el calor más caliente que he sentido. Y estoy en RJ), estructura gran baño. El café no es muy variado, pero está buenísimo. Las señoritas que atienden el hotel son súper dulces y atentas. Me encantó y lo recomiendo.

An absolute steal! I guess the best hostel I had so far in Colombia overall! Good location, very friendly and helpful owners and a small rooftop pool for a decent price!

Maravillosa estancia en Posada La Fe. El trato tan cercano y afable de las Señoras Elsy y Yoli fueron el broche perfecto a nuestro alojamiento en Getsemaní. Todo muy bien cuidado y una atención maravillosa. Mil gracias ️

I stayed at Posada La Fe at the end of January. The hotel is on one of the most popular streets in the Getsemani neighborhood of Cartagena. The hotel is extremely clean, looks new and modern with really nice toiletries. I really like the decor in the room with beautiful art of Cartagena. The staff are very nice and made me feel at home. As other reviewers mentioned, the hotel cleaning/breakfast staff mostly speak Spanish but will make every effort to understand you and help you if your Spanish is limited like mine.

The hotel has a nice rooftop pool with a view of the city. Also, there are loungers on the rooftop. In addition, there are a few beautiful sitting areas. I love the open concept of the hotel. Despite the open concept, I didn’t see any bugs. The made-to-order breakfast was delicious and had enough options to keep me satisfied for my three night stay.

The street comes a live at night with street performers and the surrounding restaurants/bars with outdoor seating right next to the hotel. However, from my ground floor room I didn’t hear any significant noise. The music from the street was extremely faint and I could sleep without earplugs. I really enjoyed my stay and plan to stay here again when I return to Cartagena.

Had such a wonderful stay at this hotel. The ladies running it are so kind and the daily breakfast they cooked us felt like a home-made meal. Beds are very comfortable and the rooms were very clean. The hotel is located in a vibrant neighborhood where the "locals" live. It is 10 min walk to walled city and very accessible to everything by foot.

One complaint/ warning is that the hotel is on a very loud and busy street that turns into a street party seemingly every night. It is very fun to be so close to the action, and we spent many evenings here, however the noise goes late into the night and you can hear it very loudly from the rooms. Would not recommend to light sleepers. Maybe a room not facing the street would be better. Despite this, still a very positive experience, and great value.

¡Una auténtica ganga! ¡Supongo que es el mejor albergue que he tenido hasta ahora en Colombia en general! Buena ubicación, propietarios muy amables y serviciales y una pequeña piscina en la azotea a un precio decente.

Tuve una estancia maravillosa en este hotel. Las señoras que lo dirigen son muy amables y el desayuno diario que nos prepararon se sintió como una comida casera. Las camas son muy cómodas y las habitaciones estaban muy limpias. El hotel está situado en un barrio vibrante donde viven los "locales". Está a 10 minutos a pie de la ciudad amurallada y es muy accesible a todo a pie.

Una queja/advertencia es que el hotel está en una calle muy ruidosa y concurrida que aparentemente se convierte en una fiesta callejera todas las noches. Es muy divertido estar tan cerca de la acción y pasamos muchas noches aquí, sin embargo, el ruido llega hasta altas horas de la noche y se puede escuchar muy fuerte desde las habitaciones. No se lo recomendaría a personas con sueño ligero. Quizás sería mejor una habitación que no dé a la calle. A pesar de esto, sigue siendo una experiencia muy positiva y de gran valor.

Lugar muy ruidoso. No hay posibilidad de dormir antes de las 3 de la mañana, incluso con tapones para los oídos. Música muy alta desde la calle frente al hotel. Probablemente esté ubicado en la calle más ruidosa de todo Getsemani. Incluso si la habitación no da a la calle, ¡es muy ruidosa! El personal es muy amable, intentó hacer lo mejor que pudo, el desayuno es bueno.

¡Este era un lugar tan especial! Limpio, cómodo, personal amable y servicial. ¡Vistas desde el elevado patio y la piscina! Desayuno delicioso. Fiesta colorida en la calle, tranquilidad en el interior.

El lugar es impecable. El personal super amable. Limpio, ordenado, Buen desayuno y la ubicación muy buena.

Hemos pasado una estadía maravillosa. Las personas que atienden ahí son encantadoras, muy amables y atentas de que estuviéramos bien. Los desayunos son increíbles!
La posada está ubicada en pleno callejón ancho en el barrio Getsemani y tiene mucha vida. La habitacion que nos dieron muy cómoda y tiene de todo.
Desde ahí es caminable a partes importantes de Cartagena como la ciudad amurallada y el muelle de la bodeguita.

We stayed here while attending school next door at Neuva Lengo. Our room at the back of the first floor was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was quickly prepared and included fresh fruit every morning. We relaxed at the pool on an upper deck and enjoyed the fresh breezes.

Beautiful, small and quite hotel. Amazing service, delicious breakfast. Room was cozy and had everything what was needed. 2 ladies working there super nice and helpful.

Located in Getsemani this 6 room hotel was staffed by the nicest people in the world. Very clean and comfortable. Beds and pillows were comfortable and there are many public areas to read a book and relax. About 15 minute walk to the main tourist area. Many tasty cheaper restaurants (than the main tourist area) located close to hotel.

Un lugar muy acogedor, con habitaciones cómodas y muy limpias. Te sientes en casa, la amabilidad del equipo de trabajo para resaltar, los desayunos son muy completos y muy ricos. La casa está muy bien ubicada, centro histórico, lugares de interés, buenos restaurantes y bares. Volveremos.

An absolutely lovely and hidden gem of a hotel. Throughout staying in various places in Colombia, and sometime paying 3-4x the price, nothing came close to the positive experience here. The ladies in charge of the hotel are friendly and more than willing to help with everything from giving advice to helping cut fruit. I only have limited Spanish competency, but was able to still communicate due to their patience and kindness! The hotel is located on a hustling and bustling street, with lots of food, drinks, and sightseeing right outside, yet the noise isolation allows you to get a good night rest each night. A beautiful neighborhood to explore and get lost in, highly recommend anyone that can to stay at this hotel!

El lugar es perfecto y, el callejón donde está, el mejor de Cartagena. Pasamos nochebuena y Navidad y había más rumba allí que en la zona de fiesta, jeje. Pero, lo que hace perfecto el lugar es Yolanda, qué encanto de mujer!

Muy linda esta posada y se esmeran por atenderte muy bien. Genial las calles cercanas llenas de murales, guirnaldas y sombrillas.

La atención en la posada es de lo mejor, gracias a su ama de llaves, Yolanda. Todo es demasiado limpio y organizado.

La Posada la fe está ubicado en el barrio Getsemaní, en una calle solo peatonal. Si usted va en carro, lo puede dejar en el "Getsemaní Parking". El alojamiento está cerca a venta de comidas rápidas, tiendas y a 5 mins a pie del centro histórico

La posada tiene un buen desayuno, es un lugar muy recomendado.

We stayed here for three nights in March and had a wonderful time. Our room was refreshingly clean and cool with the AC. Doña Yolanda, who ran the location, was a wonderful host and was very helpful in cooking, cleaning, and advising. We felt comfortable taking a siesta in the rooftop pool during the heat of the day.

Les chambres sont confortables (avec clim et ventilateur), l'accueil est sympa et le petit déjeuner est bon (fruits, oeufs, pancakes, céréales).

This place is the bomb. Can’t even list all the great things. Extremely clean, beautiful rooms, management extremely helpful. The location is great and everything is in walking distance. We had a 9 months old baby with us and the two ladies downstairs have been absolutely accommodating and helpful. Best place we have stayed during our 3 week Columbia holiday. Highly recommend this place!

This place was lovely to stay at. The rooms are spacious, clean and have nice little details. The common areas are also super cute and there is a nice view from the rooftop. The location is great and the hotel is in one of the most charming streets of Getsemani! It’s a two minute walk from Plaza de Trinidad with lots of restaurants around.

Also, the service is great, the two ladies running the place are attentive, service minded and efficient. Additionally, when my boyfriend got sick they were super helpful with getting a doctor to visit and buying the medicines from the pharmacy.they went out of their way to help us.

Do research of area as poor district and know at least some Spanish since no one speaks English. Unexpected tips due at check in.otherwise Great stay very very clean and quiet with nice rooms and common areas

Hermoso lugar, buena ubicación en el Barrio Getsemaní. La atención es impecable. El desayuno muy rico y las habitaciones formidables.

The front is not very well marked so you may walk right past it so just keep your eyes open when first visiting. Otherwise our stay here was great. The room was comfortable and the AC was nice and cold, plus there was actually hot water! Elsie was an incredible help with all that we needed. The location is fantastic and most of the interior of the old city is easily walkable from here.

Amazing place to stay at. Clean, comfortable, beautiful, QUIET, good location, small pool to get refreshed, and the ladies working there are so sweet and kind. This would be the place I go back to when I go to Cartagena again.
