Roberto es el mejor instructor! Su paciencia y su empatía ayudan muchísimo al momento de retarte y aprender a bucear.
Hice el proceso con él, primero toda la teoría NAUI de manera virtual desde Medellín y luego un valioso fin de semana de certificación en Santa Marta.
Es una experiencia que jamás voy a olvidar y siempre estaré agradecida de que fuese Roberto quien me diera literalmente la mano en mis primeras inmersiones.
La experiencia es inolvidable porque vives al 100% el buceo, ademas el equipo de Roberto es de lo más amable.

My girlfriend and I got our open water certification at Calypso. We have dived in Mexico, Hawaii and Thailand and found calypso to be well above the standards (Safety and friendliness) of all other scubadiving schools we have been to. We truly enjoyed our time with Roberto and the rest of the crew (Hansel, Javier and Tea). Their Safari experience was amazing taking you to me most beautiful scenery Colombia and Tayrona has to offer. Marine life was awesome, fish, coral, octopus and many more. We highly recommend getting your certification here or at leas, go out with them just to do fun dives. We were also able to meet other divers from around the world (Germany, Scotland, France, Chile, Canada and of course, Colombia). The classes were private and they teach at your own speed. Our instructor always made sure all the concepts were clear before moving forward to the next topic. Under water exercises could be intimidating but again, our instructor always made sure directions were clear to guarantee our safety at all times. We loved the fact that we learned at our own pace. I know some diving schools make you watch videos as par of their theory training. However, at calypso, all of out training was done in person, always practicing and testing out our knowledge. This are life depending concepts and you should not take them for-granted.

Did our open water diving certification through calipso. We did the three day safari with camping in Tayrona. Great experience with the dive instructor Barak he was knowledgeable and fun, over all the experience during the safari was great. My issue is with after, I have 2 major issues. The first being our Naui Cerrification it is supposed to be entered into the system 24 hours after you complete training, pues was done 18 days later! And this is because I hassled them into doing it, they kept saying they were waiting for more people to do it so they can do a batch.sorry how is that my problem? The second issue is that even though it is part of the package that we bought there were no pictures or videos take of our class, after hassling them for 2 Weeks I was simply told that they don’t have any pictures so nothing can be done.yet I paid for them? Guess the money was lost! As much as we enjoyed the instructor we will not be returning here and we will be advising against it to everyone we know who will be visiting the area.
