Casa del Ritmo Hostel

This hotel offers a restaurant at midday and on evenings. They have really nice vegan and vegetarian options on the menu, tasty beer and a whole range of cocktails.

They also offer the services of a tourism agency in place to organize your trip for the next day if you need to.

Fui primero al hostal en Rodadero y ahí me dijeron que habían movido el restaurante a Playa Salguero, dentro del hotel Cantamar.

Estuve allí en mayo del año pasado y volví hoy y nada que ver. Todo es mucho más caro que antes y pedí un sánduche que consiste en 5 cm de pan con unos tomates en la mitad y al lado unas papas desabridas. La mesera, al parecer, no habla, es negligente y poco atenta. Estoy en la mesa y la he intentado llamar en 5 ocasiones y no voltea a mirar. Definitivamente no vuelvo. Terrible lugar.

Without a doubt the best vegan food in Santa Marta (and definitely El Rodadero). You can tell love has been (and is being) put into the place and the food. Amazing service and great vegan food at affordable prices.

Would recommend this to anyone coming by Santa Marta - both for staying in the Hostel, and for eating in their restaurant.

Es un lugar acogedor, en el que hemos podido descansar adecuadamente. Tiene un restaurante vegano con platos deliciosos y ofrece unas buenas bebidas en el bar, que además es un espacio muy agradable para pasar un rato, dialogar y aprovechar los juegos de mesa.

Fuimos a cenar y la atención fue super amigable! La comida estaba riquísima! El ambiente es re agradable para estar.

Muy amables todos! La comida muy rica, y solo buenas vibras aquí. Cerca de la playa, supermercado, centro comercial. Las instalaciones también ok. Un lugar acogedor y tranquilo:)

La casa del ritmo es el mejor lugar para comer de todo El Rodadero. Los platos son deliciosos, bien presentados y en porciones adecuadas. El ambiente es muy acogedor y los anfitriones y todo el equipo son muy amables, te hacen sentir en familia

Llegue a este lugar al azar caminando por santa Marta y por improvisar terminé en este sitio. Nunca regresaria. El baño de mi habitación está muy descuidado y sucio, la ducha llena de hongo y la regadera rota, las almohadas son viejas y no podía dormir porque afuera había niños jugando pasadas las 12 de la noche, es un lugar caro en relación al servicio, encontré por el mismo precio un hotel limpio y más cercano a la playa, muy mal por los administradores de la casa del ritmo, al menos deberían cobrar barato por dormir en una cama reciclada.

Encargados muy amables. Ambiente tranquilo y fresco. Servicios óptimos. Comida y bebida excelente.

I changed hostel because the one before was not that good. Arrived there at night. The welcoming was so friendly and helpfull. They even offer help over the phone if youre somewhere else around the coast. What starter at a terrible night, ended in good sleep and great breakfast. Muchas gracias

Excelente servicio, aseo y ¡Por dios! La comida. Prueben la hamburguesa de lentejas. Está en su punto, es un poco engorrosa para comer pero es Deli, y las papas son exquisitas también.

Very aggressive dog lives at this Hostel / Restobar. Our service dog was attacked and bitten multiple times resulting in blood. Why don't have you have a sign saying no dogs? Also why do you have an aggressive dog in a place where you invite people to come to your restaurant / bar? We live in Medellin and travel all around Colombia and places that do not allow dogs have signs and our service dog in allowed everywhere since he is not a regular dog and is providing assistance to person with disability. What happens when a blind person enters your hostel / restaurant with their dog and your aggressive dog attacks them? You are lucky i can see and was able to kick your dog away after multiple bites.

The dog should be on a leash or at least warn people before they enter that you have aggressive animal at this establishment. Very rude receptionist who didn't even apologize, instead she blamed us for entering the restaurant. I don't blame the dog but they are irresponsible business owners who put customers safety at risk.

Wir haben hier auf der nächtlichen Suche nach einer Unterkunft halt gemacht. Leider waren alle Zimmer belegt, daher kann ich auch nichts zu den zimmern an sich sagen. Das Personal war aber sehr freundlich und hat uns geholfen, eine andere Unterkunft zu finden. Wir sind am nächsten Tag zum Frühstück gekommen und das war phänomenal. Das leckerste Toast mit Avocado und Tomate, dass ich jemals gegessen habe. Das Hostel ist auch sehr schön und abends gibt es auch Musik.

Veggie hostel with THE BEST VIBES! Walking distance to all the fresh fruit and veggies you could want! Private kitchen for guests, AMAZING AMAZING food. Get the wok veggies! Fresh filtered water for free. Family owned and operated with all the love! Plus kitties and a dog to play with too! Oh and a hottub and hammocks aplenty!

My service dog just got attacked here by their horrible unfriendly dog. They don’t put anywhere outside a sign saying not to bring dogs. We walked in the door to go to the cafe and my dog started getting attacked. I had to kick their dog off my dog as he bit my dog multiple times. The horrible girl working there had the nerve to ask me why I’m bringing my dog. Uhhh because he is a service dog and because you have NO SIGN saying no dogs. If you are going to have a dog in a hostel especially with a restaurant maybe you should train it so it doesn’t attack! I am going to have many 1 star reviews posted here.
