Dreamer Santa Marta

El recorrido de bienvenida fue excelente y el personal es amable y honesto. Tiene piscina y las habitaciones están limpias. El personal de recepción tiene un gran conocimiento y fue muy útil para explicar todas mis consultas. El ambiente es tranquilo y agradable. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente si se hospeda en santa marta

No está cerca del centro, pero está a 5 minutos a pie de 3 grandes supermercados, incluido un gran centro comercial. Además, los autobuses paran en la carretera principal, por lo que puedes coger cualquier autobús hasta la ciudad. Primero me quedé en la habitación con baño de China. Lo bueno fue la pequeña tetera, té, café y agua. Eso estuvo bien. ¡El aire acondicionado y el ventilador funcionaron muy bien! Las cosas no tan buenas fueron que el wifi no funcionaba bien, el agua del baño no bajaba bien por el desagüe, no había televisión en la habitación. Además, si eres un nómada digital que trabaja, debes saber que ponen música todo el día, todos los días, hasta las 11 p.m. Y puedes escucharla en la habitación.
Luego pasé al formulario compartido y nuevamente es una habitación realmente agradable. Los puntos positivos incluyen camas cómodas, una luz de cama flexible y aire acondicionado. Lo que no es tan bueno es que las camas no tienen cortinas, por lo que no es muy privado.
Hay una cocina pero le falta mucho menaje y se ensucia fácilmente porque hay mucha gente cocinando. Las señoras de la limpieza hacen un gran trabajo para dejarlo limpio, pero sepan que en las horas pico, puede no ser tan bueno.
Considerándolo todo, estoy súper agradecido de haberme quedado aquí. Conocí a muchos viajeros agradables. Definitivamente es uno de los mejores lugares para conocer a otros viajeros ya que el ambiente es muy tranquilo. También jugamos en la gran piscina, que fue increíble.

¡Gran albergue para mochileros! Cristina fue muy acogedora y servicial. ¡La comida estuvo genial!

Maravilloso lugar para pasar unos buenos días de descanso, super recomendado.atención por parte de los empleados muy cordial sitio muy aseado, las habitaciones muy bien distribuida y la gastronomía muy variada. Me encanto!

Le pagan a la gente para dejar comentarios supuestamente con una especie de trabajo es falso ; tengan cuidado puede ser una estafa

Me parece un sitio mu agradable ya qué la atención es increíblemente, buena el lugar es muy amplio, muy bonito, limpio y respecto al precio también. Tiene como 3 baños para chicos y aparte 2 exclusivos para chicas. Nos hicieron sentir como de la familia y nos dieron los consejos exactos. Hay dos cocinas, mesas, todo el supermercado y terminal terrestre cerca. Se disfruta la tranquildad para estar relajaditos. No lo duden en estar acá es muy recome dado Gracias

This is a fantastic backpacker hostel to stage your adventures around Santa Marta. They also will lock up your bags while you go on the longer tours. Everything was extremely clean and the food was fantastic. Highly recommend!

Hermoso hostel con piscina y muy bien equipado com cocina, bar y restaurante ademas de amplias areas de descanso comunes. Lo malo es que esta alejado del centro, que no es problema para mi que ando en moto.

Tuvimos que cambiar de hostal de Dreamer Palomino a Santa Marta porque no alcanzabamos a llegar y todos fueron muy colaboradores con eso, eso nos encantó. Los desayunos buenísimos, vimos el resto de platos y eran ricos y en buenas porciones. Las instalaciones del hostel muy lindas y aseadas. Tienen un gato hermoso recomendadísimo!

I got bed bugs when I was at this hostel, and saw another traveler who did as well. The staff offered no compensation, stating there was no way it was their fault and cancelled my stay on hostelworld so that I would be unable to leave a review there. The hostel is far from the centre. Would not recommend.

Awesome hostel! The staff at reception make you feel welcome. Food was great and the private room was perfect for a night. Great base to head to tayrona or minca!

The rooms were basic, but good enough. I had a dorm with a fan, but it got really hot. The pool is nice, and the food is good. I booked my trip to Ciudad Perdieda through the hostel and they toke care if everything in one day.

My boyfriend and I traveled to Santa Marta and stayed at the Dreamer for two nights then traveled to stay at the dreamer in Palamino. The food was amazing, I recommend the burrito it was delicious. The staff was great and helped us plan a bus trip to Minca for the day which was extremely easy. The room we stayed in was clean and spacious. I highly recommend staying here. It met all of our needs and was extremely safe.

Stayed here for two nights - before & after the lost city trek. It’s fine for a night before an excursion but don’t expect to stay here to see the city. There’s nothing to do in the surrounding area. DJ was horrible both nights, annoyingly bad. At 7pm music is blasting so loud you can’t even have a conversation and there’s no way to escape the music. Food was ok and wifi was good

Hostal tranquilo y agradable, habitaciones limpias y frescas. Cerca de la quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino y del centro comercial Buena vista. Recomendado al cien por ciento.

Espectacular, es un hostal realmente hermoso, la piscina, el ambiente, la Terraza en el segundo piso, todo, todo, la comida es súper deliciosa, la atención es única. Hey lo recomiendo al full. Volveré

He elegido este hostal ya dos veces y siempre me ha ido súper bien, la atención por parte del personal es estupenda, el ambiente en la piscina es genial y aunque no está cerca de la playa está ubicado en un buen sector de la ciudad, la comida es deliciosa sin duda alguna volvería a hospedarme.

Best hostel in the city, near Tayrona park, minca and other places of relevance in the city. Despite the setbacks with the pandemic, it has kept it's excellence on customer service and facilities. Thank u guys!

The best hostel in Santa Marta. I wanted to stay just a couple of nights and ended up staying more than a week. Especially the staff was super nice and always there to help with everything that came up. Special thanks to la Reina del Hostel Louisa and barkeeper Juanito.

Pésimo servicio, llegamos hacer el check in a las 3: 00 PM y la habitación estaba sin Asear, y desordenada, por lo que nos pidieron dejar las maletas mientras alistaban y nos fuimos a pasear, regresamos a las 9: 00 PM y no aparecían las llaves del Hotel y teníamos nuestras maletas dentro de la pieza, aparte el recepcionista súper mal educado, Buffon y desentendido diciendo que ese no era problema de él y que el no nos podía resolver, siendo él la persona encargada de las llaves. Tuvimos que esperar más de 1 hora parados que buscarán las llaves y no aparecieron, nos abrieron con las de repuesto. En resumen No lo recomendamos muy mala experiencia, y muy mala atención provocaba darle en la Geta a ese recepciónista

Spanking clean hostel, friendly staff, delicious food, and ease away from all the craziness in a removed location. One of the nicest hostels you will stay at in your life.

️Room: We went for a private room: aptly named Colombia. It's a medium sized room but perfect for two people. Bed is excellent, shower is amazing, although water was only ever luke-warm.

️Common areas: There is an upstairs terrace area where you can cook, watch TV or sit down and read.
Downstairs is the pool, grass with deck chairs, a pool table and a bar.and tables for eating.

️Cleanliness: Super clean. Staff were constantly cleaning areas.

️Hostel Kitchen: Coffee is available all day, free! We only ordered food once: the Vegetable Curry. It was lovely!

️Staff: Really helpful, the owner is so hands-on and always available to help out and advise on transport issues.

️Only negative point would be the issue with drinking water. Having travelled a lot from hostel to hostel its always a real shame when a hostel doesn't provide free water for guests.

Overall I would stay here again, it has amazing chilled vibes and the staff were SO helpful - it really felt like home. The free drinking water would be the cherry on the top!

Cheap and functional, but also loud and geared towards a very young party traveler crowd. The location is handy if you are just transiting Santa Marta to Minca or other places, since it's right off the highway and therefore you don't have to bash your down downtown. Good wifi. Standard breakfast. FREE LUGGAGE STORAGE is awesome!

You can leave your bags here for free while visiting Minca and/or Costeno beach. Highly recommend this hostel, it's got everything.

Excelente hostal! Muy bien ubicado, todo limpio, personal súper atento y ambiente joven con muchas actividades.

Pésimo servicio de quien debe ser la cara amable del lugar -Alvaro- persona que no colabora, y que obstaculiza hasta una orden de preparación de la comida, la cuál guardó y por su actitud almorzamos a las 3 de la tarde. El resto del personal amable y colaborador. Que lastima, no me gustaría ni por error volver.

Excelente ambiente, el hostal divino, perfecta ubicación. Pero sin duda lo mejor es el personal. ¡Recomendadísimo!

Sehr schönes Hostel, die Zimmer sind Top und alles ist sehr sauber. Das Personal ist super nett und gibt sein bestes für jedes Problem eine Lösung zu finden. Wirklich nur zu empfehlen! Würde sofort wieder in das Hostel gehen.

No doy 5 estrellas, solo por que es la primera vez que me sucede que la imagen que muestran de la habitacion en la reservación, está súper alejado de la realidad, pero tampoco tengo quejas de esa habitación. De resto, muy buena atención, todo muy bonito, y creo que no disfrute al máximo los servicios pues primera vez que me quedo en un hostal como tal. De resto todo perfecto.

Sencillamente asombroso.
Desde el aeropuerto de Santa Marta, toma un taxi o un autobús pequeño hasta el Centro Comercial Buenavista en Mamatoco, de allí puedes ir caminando 10min hasta el hostal.
Brindan clases de español para extranjeros y tienen grandes comodidades.

Es un súper lugar para pasar una noche o socializar si es lo que se quiere.piscina, barra, juegos, y la gente de la recepción la mejor!

This hostel a really big with a lot of beds. The pool is very nice and quite big. The staff is awesome and very helpful. The kitchen serves great food from different cultures. There is a kitchen for cooking your own food, too. The location is great for trips to tayrona and minca. The hostel offers shuttles as well.

Dreamer Hostel ist vor allem für junge Backpacker. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und spricht Englisch. Touren zur Ciudad Perdida können direkt vom Hostel gebucht werden. Allerdings ist das Hostel außerhalb des Stadtzentrums von Santa Marta, wo es viele Bars, Clubs und Restaurants gibt. Zudem ist der Karibikstrand unweit des historischen Zentrums und weit entfernt vom Dreamer Hostel. Dafür gibt es im Dreamer Hostel eine gute Küche zu fairen Preisen.

La atención en recepción es absurdamente mala, seria bueno que les hicieran por lo menos seguir un cursito de hospitalidad, llegas y te atiende una costeña de muy mala gana de manera displicente, tanto así que ni siquiera quize seguir con el proceso.

Excelentes instalaciones, increibe servicio al cliente, la comida es espectacular, muy recomendado los invito a vivir la experiencia. Amo a su recepcionista Carolina

No hot water, no towels, got food poisoning from undercooked ground beef

I tried to talk to the manager at the front desk, he wasn’t there and I was told he wouldn’t be coming in before I left for the airport. So I tried calling him and emailing him, no response. He has my email and phone number, yet I’ve heard nothing from him. Also, the towels they provide are outdoor beach towels, not towels for the shower.

The personal is only thinking about money, no hot water in the showers, only two toilets for an hostel with more than 100people (and not working well) the atmosphere is really uncomfortable and the prices high, please just try to go in another place for yourself.good travel!

Nice and cool hostal. Big pool, nice bar. If you want to hand around and meet people. It's the place to be! A restaurant at the hostal, a little costly but good. Supermarket really close to the hostal. If you want to cook, there is a big kitchen available. As you wish!

Loved this place. Really good hostel for meeting other travelers and socialising. The pool is great. But lots of spaces and hammocks to chill out in too if you want. Music turns off at 12 and if people want to keep partying they get a cheap taxi downtown. The guys working behind reception are the best - so friendly and know your name! And have good recommendations on what to do.
