Café Bernabé Gourmet

Almorcé tarde aquí. Disfruté de la comida tradicional colombiana (sin embargo, el menú era muy grande y tenía muchas otras opciones). El anfitrión fue increíblemente amable y explicó la historia de nuestros platos.

Mi esposa y yo hemos comido el mejor bistec de nuestras vidas en este restaurante. ¡dos veces! Vinimos aquí hace 4 años y les hemos contado a todos sobre este increíble filete. ¡Regresé en 2023 y fue igualmente increíble!

Servicio fenomenal, excelentes personas, ¡deja de buscar y ve!

Comimos aqui con un grupo de amigos y nos sorprendió gratamente. Destacamos entre nuestros platos la Berenjena rellena y la Baba Ganush que nos encantó. Al pagar, el camarero nos habló de la historia de su menú gastronómico y la cultura y historia del pais. Lugares en que se encuentra la magia de la esencia Colombiana junto a un buen manjar. Recomendado!

Mal sitio, terrible servicio, los meseros no saben la variedad de cafe y la administracion es muy intolerante

Terrible servicio, primero el menú no tiene variedad y segundo los meseros no tienen conocimiento de la carta. El administrador muy mal presentación. Nada recomendado.

This place is so dope and an absolute must-visit when in Salento! Unfortunately, the place is somewhat hidden as you have to go through a narrow hallway up some stairs, even though its located on one of the town‘s main streets. Whoever loves cake and coffee as much as our German travel group does will find all greatness located right here! I can‘t urge you enough to try Torta de Chocolate y Pimienta as dessert, paired with a cappuccino. Whoever celebrates black coffee instead will find pretty much all possible brewing options - Chemex, Bialetti, Aeropress and more. The staff is incredibly friendly, smiles a lot and just lets you have a good time!

By the way, if one cake is not enough for you, make sure to also get the banana cake:)

Très bon accueil de la part du personnel et du patron. Les plats sont très bons, c'est de la vrai cuisine! La bière brassée sur place vaut également le coup!

Este restaurante ubicado en la Calle Real tiene una de las mejores propuestas gastronómicas y café de especialidad del municipio. Probé la hamburguesa La Aparecida, cuya carne estaba en su punto medio perfecto, con un acompañamiento a base de salsa de pimienta dulce con cebolla, pepinillo y arúgula, exquisita. De tomar las bebidas que pedimos fueron una limonada de hierbabuena morada y una de pócima de banano, fresa y limón, cada uno más extravagante y delicioso que el otro.

Para el café decidí tomar algo poco usual en una cafetería de especialidad: un ibrik preparado con cardamomo. Lo recomiendo como un bajativo. El barista fue muy amable y nos hizo la experiencia de preparación y cata en la mesa, como siempre lo hacen en Bernabé.

El ambiente del local es muy bonito y amplio. Es una casona típica antigua remodelada. Tiene un mirador en el fondo que da una hermosa vista del paisaje cafetero de Salento.

Lieu très chouette et personnel sympathique mais ayant lu tant d'éloges, nous sommes clairement déçues. Les sauces ne sont pas à la hauteur de l'ambition et ne jouent absolument pas leur rôle dans l'assiette, la viande était ultra sèche, et concernant le bowl, c'était fade malgré une vinaigrette qui se serait voulue originale.
Les prix sont élevés et non justifiés et en aucun cas on ne peut qualifier ce restaurant comme ayant une tendance gastronomique. Une envie d'innover mais l'exécution n'est pas la.

Accueil chaleureux, cadre très agréable et cuisine délicieuse, desserts originaux. Incontestablement le meilleur restaurant où nous avons mangé au cours de notre séjour de 10 jours à Salento.

The servers are friendly & knowledgeable and the food is amazing. The filet with coffee red wine blackberry reduction is amazing. The chocolate cake is amazing and i dont normally enjoy cake. I've eaten at places many times the price with way less quality. Highly recommend.

Una oferta muy buena y variada. La comida buenísima y bien presentada. Excelente trato personal. Llegamos casi por casualidad desde Barcelona (Catalunya) y nos encantó el lugar.
Si viajáis por la zona, no dudéis de tomaros un ratito para disfrutar comiendo en el Café Bernabé.

Hace poco conocí el lugar, me pareció que es sumamente acogedor, el ambiente en general es agradable, las sillas no son las más cómodas del mundo pero estan bien, la decoración es muy bonita, con respecto al lugar 5/5, se presta para ir en grupo o en pareja!

Respecto al menu es variado, la atención y explicación de cada plato es un buen detalle, el único inconveniente es que se tardó demasiado en salir el pedido a pesar de que no estaba muy concurrido el lugar, y tristemente tenía más expectativas sobre los platos, estaban ricos, pero no han sido de los mejores que he probado. Esta parte 3/5.

En general recomiendo el lugar, brinda una agradable experiencia, pero espero tener una mejor experiencia respecto a la sazón de los platos en el futuro!

Der Service und das Ambiente waren toll. Leider war das Essen (Spaghetti und Burger) wirklich nichts besonderes. Außerdem war beides nur Lauwarm. Im Vergleich zu anderen Restaurants in Salento sind die Preise teuer und das Preis- Leistungs- Verhältnis stimmt nicht.

Sus instalaciones super bonitas, el ambiente es tranquilo y fresco, la comida es deliciosa, super super recomendado.

Came here twice during my stay in Salento. Delicious buddha bowls with fresh ingredients! Portions are relatively small but fairly priced.

Super restaurant à Salento, on y mange bien mais surtout, Felipe, le propriétaire est une personne incroyablement gentille et attentionnée. Il a passé beaucoup de temps avec nous, à nous partager des endroits pour notre voyage en Colombie, dans d’autres villes. Super soirée dans son restaurant super bien decoré!

The food is very delicious and made with love and passion. My husband liked especially the Creation of Lomo saltado he got with the plata surpresa.

Great food, good portions and prices. Great atmosphere. Recommended making a reservation. We didn't have a reservation but still got seated right away. It was busier when we went for dinner. Service was good, menu in english and some of the staff spoke english.

Really relaxed place to have a nice meal. The filet Mignon was cooked perfectly and everything else was really tasty too. Fair prices (33.000 COP for the Filet) too.

Delicious steak in a red wine and coffee sauce and lasagne but the lasagne was a bit on the cold side - maybe needed a bit more hearing up. The white chocolate, with orange and cacao nibs was to die for

Great food and excellent service. The meat is so delicious in Colombia and even more so there. We had 2 different cuts and both were juicy and perfectly cooked and served with vegetables (very rare to eat salad). The staff is very attentive to the guests needs and always smiling. Dessert was incredibly good as well made with local fruits. Make sure you reserve (deposit required) as it’s very popular amongst tourists and locals, and for those who don’t reserve you will most probably end up sharing your table with other people in high season.

Outstanding! Great wine and meat cooked to perfection. The cold-brew martini was amazing. Top-notch joint to unwind after a day of getting lost in the mountains. Also I think Hemingway is getting drunk in the bar.

Excelente lugar para disfrutar de las más exquisita comida. Con un ambiente muy acogedor y dentro de la zona comercial de salento. Muy buen servicio.

Very friendly service, good coffee.the rest was rather in need of improvement. The lemonade was mixed poorly leaving big ice pieces. All, but all dishes are decorated with oregano. The burger was small and dry, the potatos fridge cold. The filet mignon was good but not evenly prepared. We were disappointed, especially due to the high reputation of this restaurant. I've heared about the bad employment conditions of the kitchen staff and therefore cannot really recommend this restaurant. Maybe things will change in the future for good.

Al lado del café está el pequeño puesto de jugos. Son amorosas, te atienden super bien y los jugos deliciosos. Solicité leche deslactosada y aunque no la tenían aceptaron que yo la llevara, prepararon mis jugos y me dieron dos por el precio de 1. Muy recomendado.

Muy buena atención, la comida excelente, un formato diferente en el que compartes mesa con personas desconocidas, los precios son adecuados, los meseros muy pendientes de todo y conocen a la perfección el menú.

Un bonito sitio con decoración atractiva, se encuentra cerca de las escaleras al mirador a un cuadra de la calle principal pero es fácilmente reconocible, un servicio amigable aunque puede ser algo lento si el lugar esta muy abarrotado, dispone de mesas interiores y exteriores con una linda vista, muy buen café, un buena variedad de bebidas y comidas, los precios son razonables, una buena opción para disfrutar del café de salento en un lugar un poco más privado que los negocios locales

Great restaurant, i had the salmon and definitely enjoyed it. Good food for a fair price. The staff was friendly and atmosphere is good. This place is often full so try to make an reservation (would recommend sitting outside). Only weird thing was that they were already fully closing the place down while people were still in the middle of their dinner. Would definitely recommend though.

The meat and the sauces here are amazing (try the filet mignon). The red by the glass, an Argentinian Merlot, was also fabulous! Also our waiter was lovely.

Cucina fusion da provare
In questo ristorante si mangia bene anche se non è il primo che consiglierei. Io ho provato il salmone con dei sapori in agrodolce.un po' particolare ma nel complesso un piatto molto buono. Anche l'atmosfera del locale specialmente la sera è molto bello.

Cafe Berbanbé is a much needed haute-cuisine oasis. One day you will become fed up of arepas, and on that day, you should go to Café Bernabé.

The atmosphere is lovely, although smaller groups may need to share a table at peak times. The food is excellent; although the menu is limited, there is some great stuff on it. The filet mignon is superb. The food can be a little pricey, but I think worth it.

The house wine is a good bet too, an Argentinian Malbec, and is surprisingly good for the price.

La location è molto curata. Ottimo cibo (il filetto che ho preso era eccellente e cotto benissimo) e personale molto gentile.

Nourriture et boissons délicieuses. Nous avons testé l'entièreté de nos plats et boissons à base de café. Un régal. Victime de son succès, venez tôt pour avoir de la place!
