Maravillosa experiencia.
Me encantó.
We had the best time here. Our guide was so lovely and a real ray of sunshine. The tour was detailed without getting boring and it was really nice to see something more traditional. The coffee itself was delicious and our guide tailored our tour when we said we loved bird watching and was very patient with us and helped identify some of the birds we saw. She even gave us more information about the history of the region and some of the other plants on the site like medicinal plants and an insight into life on the farm. The coffee we bought at the end was a really good price too. There is also a nice espresso included at the end which was great. The tour itself is very well priced and easy to get to. Can't recommend enough.
The perfect coffee experience if you are a coffee lover this tour made appreciate the hard work that Colombian farmers do to create the best coffee in the world.
The tour they offer is fantastic. The owner Carlos walked us through his farm, and showed how to grow and process coffee in a sustainable way. Highly recommended if you’re looking to do a coffee tour
Absolut empfehlenswert!
We did a coffee tour with them and it was perfect. Family-owned place, which makes it very personal. Great explanation about the coffee process, lots of details and a little tasting in the end. Also you can buy delicious coffee for a very reasonable price.
Super nice small coffee farm. They offer a 1,5h tour where you learn everything about their farm. Super nice guide and owner. And you get to try their coffee
We had a great time, we arrived early and were able to have a private tour for the two of us. The farm is beautiful and the tour was very interesting. And the coffee was delicious!
Great coffee tour. The owner is superfriendly and the tour was really interesting. The coffee form is only one of 6 farmers who're farming not on monoculturing - that's great!
A tour we will never forget! Gustevo did our tour and his english was supperb! The Coffee at El Recuerdo has such history and science, i would recommend anyone to go.
I thank everyone at El Recuerdo for there hospitality and we hopefully we meet again.
Gracias Don Carlos!
Beautiful farm and i hope Carlos' way of polyculture and organic coffee farming becomes an example for all the monocultures we are seeing today based on large quantities for cheap with drainage of the soil and pesticides as result. Nice tour and great coffee.
Esperienza meravigliosa, avevo alte aspettative e sono state superate. Visita imperdible
Perfect tour on a sustainable coffee farm incl.tastings of coffee as well as several fruits directly from the trees. Highly recommendation…. If you do the walk, wait until this farm:)
Fantastic experience! Nice to see someone passionate about more than just profits, with a genuine care for the environment and biological diversity. A unique experience, plus great coffee!
Most authentic coffee tour in Salento! I was lucky someone from the hostel told me about El Recuerdo. I just showed up there and I had a private tour by Juan José, he was really knowledgeable and passionate not just about the coffee process but also about a sustainable way to produce it so it respects nature and the farmers. I loved learning from the history of coffee to the way this farm went to a permaculture philosophy. And the coffee was just delicious!
Great Tour, the owner Carlos also speaks English and is passionate about his polycultural Farm, next to the coffee plants you will see a huge variety of tropical fruits, in the end you also get coffee)
Muchas gracias a Carlos! He is such a nice guy and told us about his poly culture philosophy that cares about the perfect balance with nature. He was very passionate and showed us many plants and fruits that grow on his farm. He answered all our questions without rushing and invited us to take a break with him in front of a beautiful scenery. The coffee process itself is also explained and in the end you can try an espresso which is delicious. I highly recommend this personal, interesting and funny tour (I would have paid definitely more than the 15000 pesos).
Best tour and coffee in Salento! Carlos has understood nature in its depth and has put all his knowledge / experience into his sustainable coffee farm. He is absolutely passionate about what he does and keeps his coffee plantation in perfect balance with nature. The tour is fun, interesting and you will definitely learn a lot about plants, animals and fungus.
Maravilloso!
Gracias a Carlos! This was the most interesting, beautiful tour one could ask for. Carlos showed us his “life project” as he called it. And I can tell he succeeded. The farm is beautiful, he grows pretty much every fruit or vegetable one could ask for and takes the time to underline the importance of each and every animal or plant in nature. His look at the world, knowing that the answers to all our questions lie in nature, reflected and resonated with us and made us understand again that our priority in life should be taking care of our surroundings. Thank you again, Carlos!
