¡El recorrido ecológico de Carlos cerca de Salento fue una aventura reveladora en la jungla! Su gran conocimiento sobre los ecosistemas locales añadió profundidad a la experiencia. Cada paso del recorrido fue como una lección fascinante. La pasión de Roberto por el medio ambiente realmente brilló, convirtiéndola en una exploración educativa y memorable de la naturaleza. ¡Disfruté muchísimo del recorrido y me fui con una nueva apreciación por las maravillas de la jungla!

Recomendaría la Reserva Kasaguadua a todos. ¡Eco-pods únicos rodeados de bosque nuboso, despertándote con los pájaros y sintiéndote como en casa con las comodidades de wifi, hamacas y duchas de agua caliente! Willy y Sara fueron increíbles y realmente contribuyeron a la estadía aquí en el bosque nuboso (fueron especialmente amables cuando olvidamos nuestros abrigos). ¡Ambos extremadamente acogedores, amables y divertidos! Kasaguadua y el equipo fueron lo más destacado de nuestro viaje a Colombia; no pierda esta oportunidad. ¡Muchas gracias Willy y Sara! Enrique y Emma

Esta reseña es sobre el recorrido a pie, que fue realmente fantástico. Éramos un grupo grande de alrededor de 15. La guía (Balder) fue muy apasionada e interesante. Caminamos desde la ciudad de Salento durante unos 45 minutos. Aproximadamente en una hora llegas al alojamiento del albergue, donde puedes usar los baños (siempre y cuando no estés tomando antibióticos debido a su sistema de purificación de agua). ¡Es un lugar fabuloso! ¡Por favor traiga repelente de insectos! Tuvimos suerte y vimos algunas aves interesantes, incluido un búho. Después del recorrido, fuimos a almorzar a un café a unos diez minutos de la carretera, recomendado por el guía.

No nos quedamos en Kasaguadua (desafortunadamente) pero hicimos el recorrido por el bosque con Carlos, una experiencia realmente inspiradora y agradable donde tuvimos la oportunidad de aprender más sobre el ecosistema del bosque nuboso. Carlos es un gran guía, muy bien informado y con una pasión contagiosa por la naturaleza y la sostenibilidad. Definitivamente recomiendo el recorrido, y me encantaría ver el alojamiento también si vuelvo a estar en el área (pudimos visitar el albergue con el recorrido, parecía maravilloso).

Un lugar muy especial para conectar con la naturaleza a través del Bioturismo. Los domos son preciosos, las zonas comunes muy cómodas, el tour por la reserva interesantísimo y el trato excelente. Gracias Carlos por esos momentos tan especiales que vivimos en Kasaguadua.

Carlos habla del ecosistema local de una manera muy entusiasta y apasionada. El recorrido dura aproximadamente 2 horas.
Su inglés era muy bueno. Hizo la comparación con el ecosistema que conocemos en Bélgica y Europa Occidental. Es un dominio muy hermoso y extenso. Íbamos con un grupo bastante grande (12 personas) pero estuvo atento a esto y se aseguró de que todos estuvieran bien (tanto jóvenes como mayores). ¡También nos mostró buenos lugares para almorzar después! Era muy accesible a través de whatsapp.

¡También creemos que una estadía definitivamente vale la pena! Definitivamente recomendaríamos una visita.

Excelente lugar alejado del centro urbano, para vivir una experiencia de retiro. Los hosts son muy amables y te explican con detalle cómo funciona todo, pues se maneja el bioturismo. También se puede practicar zazen si se está interesado. Armonía con la naturaleza, silencio, tranquilidad.

J'ai visité la réserve avec Carlos, une expérience inoubliable, c'est un excellent guide, il sait énormément sur la forêt et comment y vivre tout en la respectant! Les logements sont des éco-lodges au milieu de la jungle, vous vous souviendrez toute votre vie de votre passage!

Walked all the way there to see the reserve and it was closed. There is no mention online as to opening and closing times.

Amazing place, very informative tour and with a solid philosophy about sustainability that is much more than just a show and tell of the plants. Fascinating tour of the reserve with Carlos who has been leading the conservation effort here. He speaks perfect English and imparted a huge amount of specialist knowledge to us about the phenomenon of the cloud forest, plant and fungus behaviour in tropical environments, permaculture, and following your dreams. Great place in the rainforest. Great owner. Better to leave the stuff in Salento, it's a 20 walk down to the camp.

Tanto el tour como la estadía estuvieron fenomenales. Nos sentimos super bienvenidos y cómodos. Fue una experiencia hermosa dentro de la selva. Todo está hecho con mucho amor y con muy buenas ideas.

We did a eco tour with Carlos, a man that knows everything and more about the nature, sustainable solutions and preservation. It is truely the best tour I ever had, wish I knew I could have stayed there to sleep before coming. A lot of information and super good vibes, really recomend it:)

Kasaguadua is one of a kind! By staying here, will learn about the eco reserve, the rainforest, the country’s history, the plants, animals, and the magic of it all~ in a way that is kind to the environment. Carlos is very knowledgeable and his deep understanding of this special piece of nature will enrich your experience in a huge way. The jungle pods are comfortable, cozy, sustainable, and (impressively) weather proof. I experienced a few major storms during my stay, and felt more connected to the rainforest than ever before. Don’t let weather get in the way of your plans~ this is the jungle in its authentic form. Bring a book, rain boots, an open mind, and be prepared to get a little dirty. Thank you Carlos and thank you to the Andean rainforest for teaching me lessons I will remember forever!

Please visit Kasaguadua when you're in Salento. It is a very beautiful place and Carlos is the most passionate and inspiring person, you have to meet him. You learn a lot about the rainforest and a valuable life lesson as well.

We had high expectations after reading the reviews and they were all true! Carlos is an amazing, funny guide. He explains everything so well and on beginners level that even people like me, who are not even that interested, would understand and are captivated by the stories. The lodge seems amazing (if we had known we would def had slept there). Highly recommended!

Un des meilleurs endroits où nous sommes resté en Colombie! Nous y avons même prolongé notre séjour.
Carlos le propriétaire est très accueillant, il vous concoctera de délicieux petits déjeuner et il saura répondre à toutes vos interrogations! Certes l’endroit est à l’extérieur du village, mais c’est exactement pourquoi il nous a autant charmé. L’endroit est calme et confortable et contrairement aux autres auberges du même genre, tout y est bien ordonné. La cuisine est très agréable pour y cuisiner vos repas du soir que vous aurez probablement envie de partager avec l’hôte. Cette région est magnifique. Ce séjour à été l’un des plus mémorables en Colombie!

The nature reserve is so amazing and Carlos is so warm, passionate and knowledgeable! The whole experience was so much fun and really inspiring. Everyone who comes to Salento needs to do this tour! The walk there and back is nice too. Carlos also recommended a cafe nearby for lunch that had great traditional food and breathtaking views! 2 courses was only £3 too! Enjoy!

This nature reserve is amazing and Carlos is so warm, passionate and knowledgeable! The whole experience was so much fun and it was so inspiring learning about Carlos and William’s project! Would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Salento. The walk to the nature reserve from the town square is also really nice and straightforward. Kasaguadua es una experiencia sin igual, donde te encuentras a ti mismo, sientes la gran conexión que tenemos con la naturaleza y gracias a las atenciones únicas que tienen contigo logras tener fe de nuevo en la humanidad, te hacen sentir como una estrella, acabo de llegar de allá y ya quiero volver, felicitaciones!

La reserva está increíble. El tour es muy recomendable, puedes apreciar las plantas y el ecosistema de la selva. Además, los cuartos son completamente sustentables y Carlos es es muy amable. No solo es un lugar muy bonito, sino que al quedarte aquí o tomar el tour también apoyas a la conservación del lugar. Muy recomendable.

El lugar es excelente, tranquilo, agradable. Sin embargo es mejor llegar temprano para no perder el camino.

Es un lugar con cierta magia. Carlos, El host es una persona muy amable. En verdad se ha esforzado en recuperar el bosque y construir un lugar único para descansar. Hay un pequeño templo zen que puedes usar sólo o con Carlos para aprender a meditar si aún no sabes cómo. Si te gusta la naturaleza debes ir. Si vas sólo es perfecto porq el lugar te obliga a conocer la gente q se hospeda, si vas en pareja también es un plan romántico y privado para todos.un plus del lugar muy único pero poco conocido es la calidad del agua! De muy buena calidad y este no es lugar para hablar de eso pero el agua q tomamos es MUY importante en cuanto a salud se trata. (Lean muy bn la información q dan antes de reservar)

Lo ame! Full recomendado para los amantes de la naturaleza! Muy cerca a Cali 3.5 horas!
Carlos Diazgranados tiene un proyecto espectacular de conservación, protección de 6 especies de mamíferos y decenas de aves. Captura CO2, genera cientos de litros de agua al año, y tiene un refugio absolutamente acogedor, un oasis de 12has en medio de una región impactada por los cafetales, ganado y deforestación.

Todos los espacios son muy limpios y conservados, la arquitectura del lugar es impresionante, Carlos (el anfitrión) es muy amable, atento y divertido. Se puede llegar en moto o en carro, es recomendable llevar poco equipaje y aprovechar el tiempo de estadía para conocer el lugar.y es que no dan ganas de salir de ahí. Un lugar tremendamente hermoso, preciso para unos días de reencuentro interior, de replantear la vida, de encontrarse con la naturaleza.

Carlos es un excelente host además de que todo lo que ha construído es increíble e impecable. La llegada al ecolodge es muy linda, es recomendable ir con poco equipaje y llevar un poco de mercado pues después de que llegas no querrás salir de allí. Pasamos la noche de año nuevo con Carlos y nos preparó una cena increíble con vino y la conversación fue muy amena. Los desayunos son deliciosos y el tour que hace es imperdible! Aprendimo mucho. If you have the opportunity to stay at Kasaguadua, you are very lucky! It’s in a beautiful location a little out of Salento, nestled in the jungle and away from the crowds in town. The main house is the perfect place to relax and the owner Carlos makes you feel very welcome. Carlos is a very dedicated host and we really enjoyed getting to know him. It’s incredible what he has created in this reserve. Thank you for all your help Carlos. We can’t recommend this place enough:)

We had a great time at Kasaguadua - it really is a special place! I highly recommend it, especially if you are planing to go to Salento but are looking for more nature and a calm environment. The small houses are in the middle of the forest and the shared spaces are lovely. Besides that, Carlos - the owner - is a great person, excellent cook and absolutely passionate about the nature and therefore knows a lot about how the forest and its plants work. You definitely should check out one of his interesting tours. Thanks Carlos! Hopefully we will be able to come back one day, to see how everything has developed!

Los anfitriones son increíblemente, todo es natural! Hasta el jabón ¡ Si estás buscando un lugar para desconectarte del mundo este es el lugar para ti, lleno de naturaleza, animalitos, extensa flora, además la comida es deliciosa y se pueden dar paseos hacia el río; por otro lado existen diferentes tipos de tours describiendo el proceso del café. El hostal queda a unos 20 minutos a pie del pueblo Salento también puedes tomar un jep hacía el pueblo en el cual puedes tomar otro jeep hacía el valle del cocora u otros lugares a sus alrededores

Toda una experiencia de vida! Para los amantes de la naturaleza y los que quieren tomarse un espacio de reflexión y autoconocimiento. Muy recomendado. Carlos y William los mejores anfitriones. Importante tener en cuenta recomendado para amantes de ecoturismo!

Very interesting tour with Carlos that has deep knowledge of ecosystems. I liked the parallel with human behaviour. It was the most interesting thing I did in Salento and I wish I did that first.

eco-hostel offering an alternative experience to sleep in the jungle. Do not expect a classic hostel.

My stay with Carlos was wonderful! The lodge is unique and lovely, with a great attention to detail in every every nook and cranny. The owner, Carlos, is a great host and I felt very comfortable spending time around him and in the space he created. I wish I stayed longer and spend more time just hanging around the hostel (instead of going into town every day) and learned more about how the eco hostel works and the history behind it. It’s a place with great “genius loci” and I wish Carlos, William and Nic the best to develop it the way they imagine it.
