Hostel Nirvana San Gil

És un lugar un poquito apartado del pueblo (10min del centro) pero en una zona más tranquila con acceso privado al rio. Las zonas comunes son muy bonitas, piscina, restaurante y a buen precio. Ofrecen muchas actividades para hacer. Las personas trabajadoras son muy amables y atenciosos. Estuve 3 días enferma y me ayudaron en todo momento en lo que necesitaba (dándome té para la garganta). Muy amables de verdad. Para completar hay un perrito hermoso SUPER educado que nos robó el corazon. Lo recomiendo al 100% si vas a quedarte en San Gil!

El hotel es ideal para ir en plan pareja y en familia, sus instalaciones son limpia, la atención del personal es excelente. Recomendado

Muy buen lugar para descansar y para pasar una tarde relajante al aire libre en la malla gigante que está al lado de la piscina, la comida es deliciosa super recomendado

Excelentes instalaciones un personal amable, atento y un ambiente ameno, muy buena comida con precios accesibles, te hacen sentir como en casa.recomendado, sin duda volveré.

MUY MAL EN GENERAL NO LO RECOMIENDO ESCOJAN OTRO.
Llegamos en la noche y adentro en la especie de sala que tienen habian extrangeros consumiendo sustancias alucionogenas y psicoactivas, aparte que durante toda la noche hubo mucho ruido por parte de ellos, la piscina esta re sucia los tendidos no los habian cambiado entre muchas otras, la verdad muy caro para lo que ofrecen si ven esto desistan y busquen otro mejor
No es un lugar para ir en pareja ni en familia

We had an wonderful experience. They were very attentive to all are needs. Just 15 min walk to center n great for after going out eating. The river behind makes a pleasant night sleep. The rooms are super clean n airy. Great internet. Pool is a plus n plenty space to lounge.

Un lugar perfecto que demuestra la naturaleza y tranquilidad que ofrece el hermoso pueblo de San Gil, su ambiente es cálido y perfecto para estar solo, en compañía de amigos o familia.

Tuvimos una experiencia maravillosa. Estuvieron muy atentos a todas las necesidades. A solo 15 minutos a pie del centro, ideal para después de salir a comer. El río detrás hace una noche de sueño agradable. Las habitaciones están súper limpias y bien ventiladas. Gran Internet. La piscina es una ventaja y un montón de espacio para descansar.

Hermoso lugar, muy agradable para descansar, te recomiendan buenos planes y te conectan con las agencias de toures, fascinado.

No hay TV en las habitaciones, ni ventilador, no hay toallas ni jabón y el baño es compartido, cabe resaltar que es económico y el recepcionista y la muchacha del aseo son amables, tiene buena ubicación.

Excelente lugar a precios cómodos, Alba tiene muy buena disposición en todo momento! Volveremos

El lugar está bien ubicado. Es mi primera experiencia en Hostel. La persona que nos recibió no es que haya sido cortes. No nos indicó nada del lugar, restaurante no hay, todo se pide servicio a domicilio. Comprendo que la habitación, que era para 5 personas, era algo económica, pero es un sauna por el calor. Es infernal. La habitación con 1 solo ventilador, finalmente nos prestaron otro ventilador. Pocas comodidades y malito el servicio. No me gustó para nada.

Dont go there! Dirty rooms, the workers are not nice, so bad hostel. They needed to give us money back about a night *we didnt sleep* and they charge us a full night. So bad hostel we neverrrr going again. Alba is the lady in the reception and shes so mean. Never saw somthing like that.dint go!

Buen servicio, todo está muy aseado y con las restricciones por pandemia. Comida deliciosa exelente servicio a los huéspedes. La piscina está bien cuidada y tiene salida al río.

Es un hotel bien ubicado y económico que tiene lo necesario. Importante, como los baños son compartidos. Constantemente están limpiandolos. Hay una piscina pequeña y bonita y "muñeca", la perrita del hotel es lo más amoroso que hay!

Las fotos pueden con todo, muy caro para lo q ofrecen, el cuarto muy caluroso, la ducha no da opción de agua fría, no repetiría este hospedaje

Antes era mucho más lindo, había una casa del árbol, una malla divina para descansar: (una lástima! Por otro está perfecto, buena atención, y el lugar muy limpio y acogedor.

Buen precio y buena y ubicación. Lo malo es que las habitaciones no tienen toalla ni jabón de baño

La atención no es muy buena y solo hay un baño. Sin embargo tiene un área social chévere con piscina y hamacas

Excelente servicio y calidad Humana por parte del personal, muy acogedor y económico, con diferentes espacios para compartir agradablemente. Ubicado en punto estrategico para ir rapidamente a pueblos y lugares aledaños, recomendadisimo!

The hostel has the perfect set up to be super social. It's a shame literally no one was there when I was but the staff were lovely and I enjoyed the peace I guess. They need to fix some more sun loungers though!

We were supposed to stay 2 days and spent 5! Fantastic hostel, great chill areas and clean, but we have never found a better staff in any hostel than in nirvana. Andres did everything he could to help us, and all of the other staff were amazing too. Just stay here if you come to San gil and you will not be disappointed

Unfortunately there was a lot of small stuff that made our stay not the best. Maybe because it was Off season, but it seemed they didnt have a lot for example:
- Half of the food/drinks on the menue were not available
-The food we ordered was not tasty, and it all arrived within 10 minutes, so just warmed up. (It's a good idea to have a 24/7 Kitchen, but I think its not necessary, rather normal times but better quality)
-The rooms were super humid and with sticky air, was not the best to sleep. (The beds were comforatble)
- Maybe add a towel in the bathrooms for the floor, that was always wet from people showering.
-Its quiet out of town.
Now for the good stuff.
-Super friendly stuff, helped you with everything you needed!
-Good Wifi!
-Chill place, good sound and nice pool!

El hostel es un lugar agradable, cuenta con servicio de cafetería aunque los precios no son los mas económicos, cuenta con ellos las 24 horas, también tiene piscina pequeña y las habitaciones están bien, no es mucho lo que hay que caminar para llegar al centro, en general estuvo muy bien el lugar y el servicio.

A really cool hostel. I want to give 5 stars, but the atmosphere and energy was a bit dead. There were other travelers but they stuck to themselves and didn't mingle, which is the most important aspect in any hostel.

The only other negative is the food. While its very convenient to have food at the hostel it was all very bland.

The employees were incredible, however. Kind, informative, inviting.

The amenities are fantastic.cool pool, bar, beds are decent, hammoks.solid 4 stars.

Location is a little out of town so be prepared to take taxis for everything

Great! This is the Best place to stay in San Gil, if you wanna feel confortable and safe, of course you can get some fun, the people are so nice and friendly like home

TLDR (too long, don’t want to read) : very helpful, quite location, relax ambience, one warm shower and one cold shower. Also, Sam’s VIPhostel is not worth the hype.

This place is great, and I may be slightly biased because I got food poisoning in town at a restaurant and the staff went above and beyond to help me. They are great people and want to make sure you have a great time. I also stayed one night in sams VIPHostel and I have no clue why there is so much hype about it. It’s very loud, beds are noisy af, no warm water and rooms are hot with no fans.

Beautiful hostel by the river with friendly staff and 24 hour restaurant. Downside are that there are only 2 bathrooms, no kitchen available to use, and limited power points. Is located a short walk out of town but this was no problem.

One of my favorite hostels! I love that it’s outside of town in a quiet location with access to the river. It’s just a short 10minute walk to the center of town & the mall and about 20 minutes to a bus terminal. If you’re getting the bus into town from Bucaramanga you can ask the driver to stop at the corner just after the bridge on the edge of town for a shorter walk. The staff are amazing here. They have excellent customer service and you instantly become friends. They can organize lots of activities for you. I did Hidrospeed (river boarding) with Assaf & paragliding in Curití. Both highly recommended! The beds are comfortable and they have decent WiFi and lots of seating and hammocks. The food is a bit pricey but very good and huge portions.

No tiene cocina para preparar alimentos.
Las toallas no te las dan con tu ropa de cama.

En general esta bien el lugar
